What is Wealthy Affiliate?
Wealthy Affiliate is an affiliate marketing training platform created by Kyle Loudoun
and Carson Lim that helps people make money online by providing training in online marketing, access to online marketing research tools, and a community of +1.4 Million members to mastermind with.
Wealthy Affiliate has been around for more than a decade and has been helping a lot of people make money online ever since then.

Misunderstandings about Wealthy Affiliate
Before I tell you about all the ways you can make money with Wealthy Affiliate I want to talk about a few misunderstandings people have about Wealthy Affiliate.
- Wealthy Affiliate isn't an online course
It's an all-in-one online marketing training product. Wealthy Affiliate provides you with everything you need to be successful with marketing any product or service online. Websites, hosting, tools, training they'll provide it all. - There are more ways to make money than promoting Wealthy Affiliate.
Yes. You can make money promoting wealthy Affiliate but there so many more method you can use to make money that doesn't involve promoting Wealthy Affiliate. - Wealthy Affiliate isn't only for affiliate marketers
As I said before it's an all-in-one online marketing training product. No matter what you're marketing the same training can be used. There are a lot of people using Wealthy Affiliate training to market their own products and services.

Here are the 5 methods to make money online with Wealthy Affiliate.
1.Promoting Wealthy Affiliate
The most familiar way to make money online by people that aren't members of Wealthy Affiliate is promoting Wealthy Affiliate itself. Wealthy Affiliate has its own referral program with which you can earn money.
How does it work?
Wealthy Affiliate will provide you with special links with a tracking code that links to sales pages on Wealthy Affiliate. You place these on your website and if someone clicks on these links and they purchase one of the products on the website you'll get a commission.
Earning potential
The earning potential of promoting Wealthy Affiliate is pretty high. There are a few people on the Wealthy Affiliate Platform making into the 5 figures a month and making at least 4 figures a month promoting Wealthy Affiliate is pretty common.
My experience with promoting Wealthy Affiliate
As I said before I've been on the platform for almost two years. In this time I've made money promoting Wealthy Affiliate.
It's a great way to make money because you get a commission that's almost 40% of the initial sale.
While it takes a while before you get your website ranked on the first page you can market your content on other platforms pretty effective.
Personally, I looked for article websites that didn't have a special algorithm that favors popular content. This helps with directing traffic to your website so that you can get some early sales.
I've also seen a lot of people being successful with Pinterest while I haven't tried it myself my friend Elder from Ketodistrict.org build an audience of 800 members within 2 weeks with it while only having 3 pieces of content.
2. Promoting other affiliate products
A lot of people think the only way to make money by promoting Wealthy Affiliate but they encourage people to find their own niche and promote products they either enjoy using or are in a niche they find interesting.
This is actually better for their business because it proofs that you can basically make money with everything as a Wealthy Affiliate member.
How does it work?
Wealthy Affiliate will teach you how to create a simple but professional looking website and provide you with unlimited hosting and 2 websites. After this, you can look for Affiliate programs to promote.
Wealthy Affiliate has its owns search engine that helps you find affiliate programs but you can also just google it by typing "Affiliate program + [your niche]". There are also a lot of affiliate market places you can visit to find products you can promote.

Just like Wealthy Affiliate, they'll provide you with links that you can put on your website. You'll get a pre-determined commission in most part based on every sale that's made through a recommendation on your website.
My experience with promoting other affiliate products
You might've noticed if you looked through my website that I primarily promote Wealthy Affiliate but I also promote other products such as Thrive Themes a web page builder, Market Hero an email marketing service, and Social Animal a content marketing research tool.
There aren't a lot of difference between promoting products from other companies and Wealthy Affiliate. I started with promoting a Dutch hosting service called Versio and after that worked I started focusing on Wealthy Affiliate because they pay more per sale.
I would actually advise beginners to go through the training and promote other products to get their first sale online.
While Wealthy Affiliate definitely is a great product to promote it's often purchased by first-time buyers which means you have to build a lot more trust before they will buy something.
When you promote for example an email marketing service your chances of getting sales is higher because they're only bought by people who already have experience with buying products online.
3. Creating an ecommerce store with Wealthy Affiliate
I didn't think about this option till I was watching some live-events on Wealthy Affiliate and they started talking about creating an Ecom store on Wealthy Affiliate.
How does it work?
It's pretty straight forward if you think about it. You use the training, websites, and hosting to set up your Ecom website using one of the template themes dedicated to selling products if you don't want to spend time creating a custom made Ecom website and start selling products.
My experience with creating an ecommerce store on Wealthy Affiliate.
I have no experience with building an e-commerce store on Wealthy Affiliate. What I have noticed is that there aren't a lot of beginners building Ecom stores on Wealthy Affiliate.
It's mostly people that have been on Wealthy Affiliate a while that start selling products on their website but in between the training on the live-events and the tools Wealthy Affiliate provides you with making money with an Ecom store on Wealthy Affiliate can definitely be a way to go.

4.Making money with advertising
Wealthy Affiliate teaches you how to attract website visitors with methods such as SEO, social media marketing, Paid Advertising, and YouTube.
The moment you attract a lot of website visitors advertisers will naturally be interested in adverting on your website because where there's attention there's money.
How does it work?
After you follow the training and build up your website to the point that you're attracting website visitors consistently you make a list with companies that sell products to your niche and email them.
Another way you can do this is by putting Adsense on your website. Google Adsense makes it possible for advertisers to promote things through banners on your website. You'll get paid per click on these promotional banners.
Go to the Adsense website and you can apply for Adsense. They'll review your website and if it's in accordance with their guidelines you can start and make money.
My experience with advertising
I honestly don't have any experience with getting paid for advertising. I know a lot of beginning Affiliate Marketers make money with Google Adsense because you'll start making money earlier than with SEO or social media marketing.
I'll try it out and in the future will update this post so I can share my personal experience with using Google Adsense on my website.
5. Selling your own online course
Selling your own online course is a popular way to make money online. There are a lot of platforms that help with creating online courses but there aren't a lot of them that teach you how to market them after you have created them.
Wealthy Affiliate trains people to not only market affiliate products but any product or service, in general, using multiple methods such as SEO, PPS, advertising, YouTube, and Social Media advertising.
I'd recommend creating the online course itself with a special course builder like thrive themes and use the marketing training and the option to host free websites on Wealthy Affiliate to market them.
A surprising amount of people that promote affiliate products also have their own online courses that they market on the same website. Here's a success story from someone that has created an online course and marketed it with the help of what he learned at Wealthy Affiliate.
The truth about Wealth Affiliate
Honestly, I think a lot of people market Wealthy Affiliate as an "Affiliate Marketing Make Money Online" product but it's so much more than that.
No matter what your market online the principles behind online marketing will always be the same so instead of seeing this as an affiliate marketing thing I think a better description would be that it's an all-in-one marketing support package for everyone interested in online entrepreneurship.
It's a support tool for everybody that is creating an online business.
