Also, a limited amount of people can participate per month making the chances of making money small.

You can find out a lot about a product by looking at the track record of the founder. Product Testing USA is determined not to let anyone know who the founder of the website is.
On their About Page, they have nothing stated about the founder. I also couldn’t find anything on Linkedin and other social media channels.
After arriving at a dead end with social platforms I decided to look up the WHOIS information of the Product Testing USA website.
Normally you can find the name of the person that registered the website on there.
The name was purposefully redacted for privacy reasons but did find out other information thanks to the WHOIS.
The website was created in 2014 and its current IP location is in Texas.

Product Testing USA is a website/platform that provides you with free products/ services in exchange for reviewing them. You can apply to become a product reviewer, Mystery Shopper or a secret diner.
How To Get Free Products
According to the official Product Testing USA website, you can participate in testing and reviews by following the next three steps.
Step 1: Select the product you want to test
The moment you sign-up you can go to categories and select the product you’re interested in reviewing.
At the moment, there’s a total of 10 categories you can choose from which can be found on the main menu after signing up for Product Testing USA.
Step 2: If Selected, receive your chosen product
You’ll go through a selection process after applying to review your chosen product. If you get selected you’ll receive an email notifying you of this.
You need to confirm that you’ll be participating within 7 days or they’ll give your spot to another participant. After confirming you’ll receive the chosen product.
Step 3: Test, Review, and keep your product for free
After receiving the product you will have to make a review and submit it to the website. After the review is approved you get to keep the product you received.

As you can see, there’s a simple three-step process to getting free products form Product Testing USA. You’ll have to take a few extra things into account before joining Product Testing USA.
I went through the terms and condition page on their website and found out that they have a lot of demands that have to be met before you can start reviewing products.
Let’s take a look at what demands have to be met.
According to the terms and conditions that are placed on the official Product Testing USA website:
- You have to be older than 18 to participate.
- You have to be a mainland US citizen or a legal resident of the US.
- Need to have a working US number where Product USA can contact you on
- Per month 7 people will be chosen based on age, occupation, geographical location, etc.
- Only one entry, per entrant, per product test opportunity, is allowed
The process of just getting selected for reviewing a product can take a long time. Just because you meet the requirements doesn’t mean you’ll get picked.
How do you review the products?
According to the website, they prefer you use one of two mediums to test out there products. You either create a written review or a video review.
All reviews must be finished within 7 days after the product arrives at your doorstep. If you haven’t submitted the review by then and you haven’t requested more time you’ll get invoiced the price of the product.
You’re obligated to submit pictures of you and the product together with your review. Your name and photographs will be publicized on online publications to promote Product Testing USA.

My Personal Take
Product Testing USA looks good but there are a few frustrated people out there that never got the product they needed to review. I don’t know if this is due to bad managing, an overload of requests or a scam.
What I like the most about Product Testing USA is that you don’t have to pay to participate in testing. This means regardless if it works or not you won’t lose money when trying it.
Even though the name says it already I was disappointed that Product Testing USA is only open to US citizens.
I understand that it’d cost more money to ship the products out of the country but they missed a huge opportunity here.
Product USA looks good but I can’t honestly say if it’s legit because of a lot of people saying conflicting things about their services.
Verdict
Is Product Testing USA A Scam? I honestly don't know.
