Tranont Review Overview
Name: Tranont
Website: tramont.com
Founder: Lorne Berry
Product Type: Health, Wellness, and Wealth MLM Program
Earning Potential: Low
Price: $99 + $150/ month
Summary:
Tranont is an MLM company that distributes and sells products for health, wealth, and wellness-related products. Tranont can’t be called a pyramid scheme (from a legal perspective) because they give people the opportunity to sell products.
That being said, the financial risk of becoming a Tranont associate is high. You have to pay $99 just to become a member followed by a monthly fee of at least $125.
Unless you’re sure that you have what it takes to succeed with Tranont I wouldn’t recommend it. I can only see a few specific groups succeeding with this MLM program.

What is Tranont?
Tranont is an MLM company that facilitates Health and wellness products combined with “wealth” services. They’re the first MLM company I have encountered that offers solutions in so many areas. Where a lot of businesses try to find an individual niche to focus on Tranont has chosen to go the opposite direction.
Learn more about what Tranont is about in this video from the official Tranont YouTube page.
Lorne Berry founded Tranont in 2013 with the goal of helping a billion people in the areas of health, wellness, and wealth by giving instructions, products, and services to help families financially.
The company was created in Utah and to this day still has its headquarters located at 3451 N. Triumph Blvd, Garden Level, Lehi, Utah 84043.
Lorne Berry spent the prior 10 years mostly working in real estate subdivisions in Utah such as Legacy Mountain Cabin Development and partnering up with restaurants and helping organizations expand into Asian markets.
According to what I could find on the internet, it hasn’t always gone smoothly for Lorne Berry. In 2013, he declared bankruptcy after accumulating more than $700K in dept.
Not much is known about the situation that cause it but ever since then, he’s been managing Tranont.
Tranont controversy
Tranont received a warning letter in 2022 from the FTC because of false claims made by Tranont Independent associates.
Here’s a social media post that was shared containing false claims.
Here are some additional statements that were made by Tranont Independent associates about Tranont products being able to treat COVID-19.
- “You’ll need a strong immune system to fight Coronavirus. Get great plant-based
- supplements to help support your immune system and the systems of your family members.”
- “Fight the Coronavirus by building up your immune system. NEW products available now.”
- “Fight coronavirus with beneficial Nitric Oxide (NO) in your body with L-argin AAKG and plan
An independent distributor also made false claims about the earning potential of the MLM program on social media.
“Maybe some of us have lost our jobs or are trying to figure out how we’re paying for childcare now. . . . What I’m going to share with you is something that . . . even with the crazy economy, you can build something massive.”
[38 minutes later] “Whether you want to make an extra $600 a month, an extra $10,000 a month, or you want to make over $1 million a year, you can do that…”
[5 minutes later] “The economy is a little bit unstable right now. . . . This is a way for you to have a plan B—for you to take control of whatever it is that you’re looking for.
Maybe it’s to retire. Maybe it’s to get out of debt. Maybe it’s to pay for college . . . . You have an opportunity to take advantage of something massive and help people give gifts to everybody that you know: a health gift and financial freedom.”
That being said, the claims detailed in the warning letters are made by independent associates and not the company itself.
How does Tranont work?
In short, Tranont distributes and sells products for health, wealth, and wellness-related products. Aside from selling the products directly to consumers, they have chosen to use the MLM model which gives you a choice to earn money by:
- Selling the products for a commission
- Recruiting people to earn bonuses.
What is MLM?
MLM (a.k.a network marketing or direct selling) stands for multi-level marketing.
According to Wikipedia, multi-level marketing is a marketing strategy for the sale of products or services where the revenue is derived from a non-salaried workforce.
As a part of this workforce, you sell the products from the company, and/or you recruit people to do the same thing. This group of people you recruit will work under you and is referred to as your downline.
The bigger your downline is the more money you can earn passively (technically speaking) because you’re getting paid a percentage based on the performance of your downline.
This also means the person that recruited you which is called your upline is making money based on your performance.
The act of recruiting turns an MLM company into a pyramid-shaped organization where the first people to join make the most and are on the top of the pyramid and those last to join are at the bottom.
Source: Wikipedia
MLMs have been around for a long time. There are Multi-level marketing companies active today that were founded in the 1950s. MLM has a lot in common with pyramid schemes which is why scammers often use MLM to disguise their pyramid schemes.
Is it absolutely necessary to recruit people? No.
You can also stick to just selling products that you can order and re-sell to make a profit. This is easier said than done for multiple reasons which is why most members try to recruit others so they can earn more money.
How to join The Tranont MLM Program
You have to be introduced by a member or you can sign-up through the website and pay the $99 activation fee. The next step is to purchase a starter kit. Tranont provides its members with 3 starter kits:
- Health – costs $150 per month.
- Wealth – costs $125 per month.
- Builder – costs $250 per month.
After that, you’ll receive training and can start right away with selling Tranont products.
Is Tranont a pyramid scheme?
To answer this question we need to know what a pyramid scheme is.
What is a pyramid scheme?
A pyramid scheme is a type of scam where people are promised money for joining the scheme and recruiting other people. No selling of a product or service is involved whatsoever.
So you might be wondering where the money comes from?
The people that join are expected to pay a one-time fee and in exchange for that, they get a percentage of the fee of everyone they recruit after that.
The problem is from a mathematical standpoint it’s impossible for everyone to make money because you simply run out of people.
Take a look at this picture below showing how it’s impossible for everyone to earn money.
Source: Wikipedia
As you can see, in this pyramid model it’s required to recruit 6 people. You’ll notice from the 12th level and further, it’s not possible anymore for everyone to earn money.
The 2.2 Billion people on the 12th level need 13.1 billion recruits in total for them all to make money which is more people than there are currently on Earth.
Looking at the description of what a pyramid scheme is, the Tranont MLM program can’t be classified as a pyramid scheme from a legal perspective.
Tranont has given people a method to make money without recruiting people. How much you’ll be earning just by selling Tranont products is a different story.
That being said, there definitely is something a bit sketchy going on. Read below to find out what I mean.

Tranont products
Tranont has a variety of products and services to offer. In all honesty, this is my first time encountering an MLM company that goes in this many directions with its products.
Tranont products and services can be divided into 2 groups:
- Health and Wellness
- Financial solutions
Tranont Health and Wellness
In the health and wellness product group, Tranont offers dietary supplements containing vitamins, minerals, CBD, and anti-oxidants.
They’ve divided their products into 4 different categories:
- Core

- Tax solutions
- Shop retail services
- Managing credit
- ID Theft protection
- Reducing debts

- and more.
Are Tranont products safe?
None of the statements made about Tranont products on the website aren’t evaluated by the FDA. They also state on every product page of tranont.com that the products aren’t intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any diseases.
This doesn’t necessarily say something about the safety of the products because it takes time to get FDA approved and we don’t know if it’s in the middle of the process. I can imagine it making it harder for distributors to sell because generally, people trust the FDA.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Tranont is a stable company
Most companies disappear after 5 years. Tranont has been in business since 2013 which means they know what they’re doing. Unless a crazy controversy or lawsuit happens it’ll be here for a long time. - You can stay a member without accumulating PV
Your account isn’t deactivated when you don’t fulfill your monthly quota. You won’t be eligible to earn a commission but you don’t have to purchase the starters kit again to become a member.
Cons
- The Founder has a questionable past
It seems that the founder of Tranont in the past had a lot of financial problems. He accumulated more than $700K in debt. This might scare people away when it comes to pitching their products and recruiting people. - Tranont products aren’t FDA approved
None of the products have been evaluated by the FDA so we can’t say with 100% certainty that they follow the proper guidelines needed to deem dietary supplements safe. - No public income/earnings disclaimer
Tranont hasn’t published an earnings disclaimer to get an impression of what people are earning as associates. You basically have no idea what you’re getting into. - You have to pay to play
You have to invest a minimum of $99 just to become a member and after that, pay at least $125 per month. The amount of money you have to invest also increases the higher you rise in rank.

Tranont Compensation Plan
Tranont can be considered a traditional MLM when looking at its compensation plan. You either re-sell their products for a commission or you can recruit people and receive residual income, climb up the ranks, and earn bonuses.
In total there are 14 ranks that all come with their benefits such as getting a higher commission percentage of all your sales.
- Associate
- Executive
- Financial consultant(FC)
- 1 star FC
- 2 star FC
- Senior Financial consultant
- 1 star SFC
- 2 star SFC
- 3 star SFC
- Regional Financial Specialist
- Vice president
- Senior VP
- President
- CEO
How much does it cost to start a Tranont “business”?
This question can be answered by looking at the compensation plan.
Like a lot of MLM compensation plans, the Tranont compensation plan is confusing at first sight. This is why I’m going to only share with you the most important aspects.
The initial cost for starting a Tranont is $99 and 1 of the 3 starter kits (of which the cheapest is $125). After that, you pay a monthly fee of $25 for your website.
By paying the initial costs you get the rank of Associate.
According to the Tranont compensation plan, you get the rank “executive” when you start “accumulating” +100 PV and recruit 3 people. PV is a term that’s often used in the MLM world to determine how much a product is worth.
Accumulating simply means ordering the products that are going to be sold.
In summary, to start your business (and start earning) it’ll cost you a minimum of $249 and after that, you’ll have to spend at least $150/month on products that you’ll have to sell for a commission.
This only applies to remaining in the lowest rank. The higher ranks that can earn residual income will require you to accumulate more products to stay at that rank.
How much can you earn with Tranont?
There are multiple bonuses that are explained in their compensation plan you can take advantage of such as the:
- Monthly Team Bonus
- Car “Jeep” Bonus
- Life Bonus
- Three Separate Bonus Pools
- Retirement Bonus
- Tranont Life Commissions
- Promotional Trips and Incentives
- Retail Preferred Customer Acquisition Bonus
In theory, the sky is the limit but in reality, we know because of factors such as your ability to recruit, your competition, and the performance of your downlines there’s is often a limit.
Unfortunately, Tranont doesn’t have a public earnings disclaimer that we could use to find out how much associates are earning but I do see it shares the same “handicaps” most MLM companies have which prevents members from earning decent money.
Why aren’t people earning decent money with MLM companies like Tranont?
I have summed up the reasons why it’s hard to make decent money with Tranont and MLM companies in general into 3 points.
1. MLMs are often associated with pyramid schemes
MLMs have a pyramid recruiting structure that you often have to join to be able to make decent money or at the very least not lose money. The problem is a lot of pyramid schemes disguise themselves as MLM programs making it difficult to differentiate the two.
This is the biggest problem why most distributors have a difficult time recruiting people. The moment people hear about how you can make money by recruiting people red flags appear in most people’s minds.
2. You have to consistently invest money to earn decent commissions
The bigger the bonuses the more product you have to buy. You do get discounts but if you can’t sell the products I can see you easily fall into a financial deficit (which happens to the majority of MLMs).
3. The price of the product often isn’t aligned with the market
It’s hard for a multi-level marketer to sell products because most MLM products tend to be a lot more expensive than similar products sold by non-MLM companies. This means even if you’re really good at recruiting your downline still needs to sell those same expensive products for you to make decent money.
You can see that translated in these statistics I found about Multi-level Marketing.
- Nearly half (47%) of MLM participants reported that they lost money.
- One in four (27%) MLM participants reported that they broke even (made no money).
- MLM participants are 7% more likely to declare bankruptcy during their lifetime.
- Direct sales have risen 79% in the last decade, but MLM participants continue to lose money.
- 90 – 99% of distributors in multilevel marketing only receive a couple of hundred dollars commission per year.
- Out of 33,000 interviewed, 90 people made enough money to cover the costs of building their business.
- 50% of the people who start a network marketing enterprise abandoned it in the first year.

Tranont Reviews & Ratings
In an attempt to add more objectivity to this review, I thought it’d be a great idea to take a look at what others think about Tranont and its products.
Most people who have used Tranont Products seemed to be very positive about how effective it is.
Some people aren’t that positive about Tranont. The problems people have with Tranont can be summed up in 2 things.
- People who think it tastes awful
- The customer service not doing their job.
My Personal Take
Tranont might not be a pyramid scheme but it isn’t legit either. The monthly costs are in my opinion very high especially if you’re selling expensive products of which you have no guarantee that you can sell them.
I can easily see people lose more money than they earn with this MLM program. The only people I could imagine succeeding with the Tranont MLM program are people with a huge online following, expert recruiters, and expert salesmen.
There are other make-money-online opportunities with higher chances of succeeding and lower risk that I’d rather recommend to people.
Is Tranont A Scam?
No. Tranont is not a scam because the company isn’t making any false claims about what their products can do or how much you can earn with their MLM program. They also aren't scamming you out of your money and disappear in the wind.
Tranont is a legitimate MLM company.
The problem with Tranont is that some of their "independent" associates don’t mind breaking rules to earn money and Tranont is responsible for their independent associates.
As a result in 2020 and 2022, they were indirectly in violation of the FTC Act, 15 U.S.C. § 41 et seq., which states that making claims about earning potential (without statistical proof) and effectiveness (without scientifical proof) is against the law.
Tranont has taken measures against the associates that made these false claims but unfortunately, they have no full control of what these associates with bad intentions do.
They can only terminate their membership after the fact.
Tranont might not be a great business opportunity but it isn’t a scam. It is possible to earn money with Tranont but it won’t be easy and comes with huge risk.
Verdict
Is Tranont A Pyramid scheme? No. It’s not a pyramid scheme but joining Tranont comes with huge financial risk and a very low chance of getting a return on investment.
In all honesty, I think most people would rather lose money than make a profit.

Tranont Alternative: Higher Earning Potential Without Recruiting
Let’s be honest unless you’re very skilled at selling and recruiting, MLMs seem like a bad deal.
What if I said to you there’s a method to make money online that doesn’t require you to recruit people or resell products?
Sound like a better option for most right?!
If you want to make money online from anywhere including your own home I recommend looking into affiliate marketing.
I think this method is a better option for most people because you can earn just as much as with multi-level marketing but you don’t have to bother people to join your downline.
There is no need to dig yourself into a financial hole without knowing if you can succeed and you aren’t required to sell a minimum of products to stay eligible for commissions.
I learned how to do affiliate marketing with the help of a step-by-step beginners course on an affiliate marketing training platform.
I created a free make money online course with all the lessons I learned on the platform and expanded on it with the help of mentors, courses, and my personal experiences.
If you have experience with MLM companies like Tranont leave a comment.
I’d love to hear what you think about it.
That’s all for today.
