In this post, I’m going to show you 11 Webinar benefits that should make you consider doing webinars in 2019.
Over the last five years, there’s been a massive increase in the use of webinars by businesses.
You might be making money without using webinars but if so then this will be a huge opportunity for you to get your business to the next level.
Not convinced?
Let me show you why by giving you…
11 Webinar Benefits That Should Make You Considers Using Webinars in 2019!
1. Webinars can be held location independent
The cool thing about webinars is that everything is done online. You could host a webinar with thousands of visitors straight from your bedroom and still have it be a professional meeting.
This means if you’re in the middle of a vacation or if you like to travel meetings will not stop you from doing that.
2. Webinars are cheaper than real life meetings
Hosting webinars will save you a lot of money. There are so many people hosting live events and investing hundreds of thousands of dollars in getting conference rooms and everything.
I’m not going to deny that live events don’t have their own unique benefits but the fact remains that you’re spending a lot of money.
Hosting webinars can be done really cheap there are so many websites dedicated to helping you host successful webinars and often you pay $40 a month for a membership.
3. Webinars can be an income stream on it’s own
Webinars nowadays is probably one of the most powerful tools to market and sales products but something people often forget is that you can turn webinars in an independent income stream.
When you think about it a webinar isn’t that different from an online course or a video product and some of those get sold for more than $1000.
The only thing that would make me refrain from putting a $1000 tag on a webinar is that it’s live but depending on how much value you provide in the webinar it’s more than possible to make a living out of it.
4. Webinars work great for list building
Webinars are often longer than most YouTube videos so the amount of value you can put into webinars is most of the time a lot more.
I’ve seen webinars range from being 1 hour to even being 4 hours. This is why a Webinars can be used as a great tool to build an email list. If the webinars are about a specific subject it’ll attract people from that niche.
You can make people sign up beforehand by letting them submit their name and email address or maybe you offer something special in the webinar and if they want it they’ll have to submit their email address.
There are so many ways you can use webinars as list building tools you just have to be creative.
5. Webinars can make for an interactive experience
What in my opinion makes webinars so valuable isn’t the fact that you are using video or the length but the fact that you can turn it into an interactive experience. This does wonder for engagement.
I’ve had my fair share of online courses where I just dozed off in the middle of a video and would wake missing 10 minutes of content not know what is going on.
Webinars most of the time don’t really have that problem because you’re giving the watchers a voice. They can give their opinions, ask questions, joke around with you and more.
6. Webinars can create scarcity
Scarcity is a very powerful tool to boost your sales. The moment something is scarce it will be perceived to be more valuable.
Most webinars are live and if you let people know this will be the only chance for them to watch they’ll be motivated to sign up, be on time, and pay attention to what you have to say.
7. Webinars can be used as microcontent
As I’ve said before webinars give you the chance to give a lot of value over a longer period of time. You can talk about more subjects or you can go more in-depth one specific subject. This gives you the chance to create micro-content.
Micro-content is a term I heard Gary Vaynerchuk use and ever since I’ve been calling it that. You basically take a large piece of content and divide it into multiple smaller parts that you can upload on other platforms individually.
You can create short videos, make sound snippets, upload images, use quotes from the webinar and much more.
8. It positions you as an expert
Trust and credibility are very important factors when it comes to making money online. Webinars can help a lot with establishing yourself as an authority.
Most beginners get overwhelmed by the idea of doing a live seminar where everyone that is watching can give their opinion about what they’re seeing. So it’s likely that when somebody hosts a live webinar that they know what they’re talking about.
There’s also a lot of steps that come with joining a webinar. You need to sign-up, set aside time, show up on time and give a lot of her time.
The more people see that other people are willing to do that, the more people will think that you’re someone that knows what they’re talking about and can provide them with actual value.
9. Webinars increase your chances at sales
One of the most underestimated components of making a sale is time. The longer you’re exposed to an offer, the more you get to understand what it’s all about and how it can help you.
A webinar gives you all the time in the world to talk about the benefits, the features and success stories people have thanks to your product.
People that have signed up for your webinar have already invested a lot to see your webinar and every minute they keep watching they invest even more making the chances that’ll leave your webinar smaller and smaller.
10. You can invite guests and leverage their audiences
A webinar is a great way to get more eyes on your content and your product. Especially since the same things work as with normal marketing. You can invite influencers as guests on your webinars and that way gets more people to see your content.
They already invested in the influencer themselves put that together with the time investment of watching the webinar and going through the trouble of signing up and you have a recipe that can make you a lot of money.
11. Webinars are personal
A webinar most of the time is done in real lifetime so it’s incredibly personal. You can’t cut anything out to make it seem perfect. This might seem like a bad thing but its actually a good thing because you accept the fact that people will see certain flaws of you and more of who you really are.
People like to buy things from people who they know and like. Live webinars is a really effective way to get through to people what you’re all about and if your intentions are good no matter if you stumble every now and then they’ll shine through.
That’s all I have to say for now. If you have any questions or just want to show some love leave a comment in the comment section and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Hope to see you at my next post!
