The 8 Best Facebook Groups For Blog Promotion In 2020

Today, I’m going to share with you the 8 best Facebook Groups for blogging in 2020. If you have a brand new blog or looking for some extra traffic you’re in for a treat.

This is a collection of the Facebook groups I use to get at least an extra 200 website visitors every week and I’d advise everyone that has just started with their blog to take full advantage of these groups so you get your first payday a.s.ap.

In a lot of Facebook groups posting your content can easily be seen as spam and get you kicked out. This is not the case with these Facebook groups.

These groups were specifically made for you to post content and get eyes on it.

Let’s take a look at how you’re going to get an extra 100-300 website visitors a week.

How Facebook blog promotion groups work

Even though these groups are made for you to post your content there are rules that you have to follow. These rules have been put in place to make this a win-win situation for everyone that’s a member of these groups.

Here are the rules that you have to follow to be able to start promoting your content:

  1. Only post in theme-specific threads

In all of these groups, they’ll post a thread dedicated to a specific form of marketing or a platform every day. Examples can be a Facebook page like thread, a “share a Pinterest pin” thread, a “share a blog post”.

  1. Support others in the thread

After you have posted content on the thread, you have to support 3 other blog owners that posted their content on the thread. If this is in the “share a Pinterest pin” thread you pin their content on your Pinterest account, if this is in the “share a blog post on Facebook” thread you share it on your Facebook profile.

These rules were put in place to make sure that every member’s content is being shared.

Aside from these rules, you’ll have the standard rules that apply to every Facebook group such as no hate speech, no bashing, etc.

The best Facebook blog promotion groups

  1. Big Income Paradise Facebook Group
Big Income Paradise

A community created by Petra Sranc a blogger that’s in the social media marketing niche. Over the last few months, I have managed to get a lot of traffic thanks to her Facebook group. Especially the thread in which your share a Pinterest pin has had great results.

The group has over 2000 members at the moment of writing this post. While her niche is mostly women in online marketing if you contribute to the group you’re more than welcome to join.

  1. ASelfGuru Biz Blog Community
a self guru biz blog community

The Biz Blog Community is created by Amira a lawyer that blogs on the side and turned it into a 6 figure business. Just like the Big Passive Income Facebook group daily threads are used for members to promote their content.

Most of the traffic I have gotten from this Facebook group comes from both Pinterest and Facebook. The Facebook group has more than 3000 members which are more than enough to promote your content.

  1. Goldenbloggerz Facebook Community
Golden Bloggerz online blogging group

This is the first Facebook group I joined and while it might not be the biggest Facebook group it’s a very dependable group to promote your content. Aside from blog content, I have also promoted Youtube content on this Facebook group.

In this group, I have had the most success with promoting Pinterest pins. So if you haven’t created a Pinterest account yet I’d advise you to do it now because you can get a lot of eyes on your blog content in this group.

  1. Blogging for new bloggers

Blogging for new bloggers is as the name said dedicated to “rookie” bloggers but that doesn’t mean you can’t use it even as a veteran blogger.

With 28.400 this one of the biggest Facebook blog promotion groups in this list. When I promote my content in this group I notice that most of the traffic comes from the Pinterest group.

What I really like about this Facebook group is that they offer a lot of free email courses that you can take advantage of to promote your content.

  1. Newbie & Expert Bloggers United
Newbie and Expert bloggers unite facebook group

With just more than 800 members the Newbie & Expert Bloggers United Facebook groups seem to add a lot of value to bloggers just starting out on their blogging journey. Despite its size, it’s an excellent group to promote your content on.

The moment you become a member you’ll notice that they mostly focus on promoting your content through Pinterest on the Newbie & Expert Bloggers United page.

Out of all the groups in this list, this group is the one I have the least experience with but till now has done a lot for directing traffic from pins to my blogs.

  1. Boss Girl Bloggers
Boss Girl Bloggers Facebook Group

To be honest, I have zero experience with this Facebook group but I have heard from friends that they managed to get a lot of traffic from this group. As the name says, the group is geared towards women that are blogging.

The niches they cater to are mostly fashion, lifestyle, and Beauty. This means not everyone is going to get accepted in this blog group but if you are a part of this niche you can get a lot of value out of this group.

The best Facebook blog groups to connect with other

Sadly, I found this out a lot later than I would’ve liked on mu blogging journey but the chances of you succeeding and making money as soon as possible increase exponentially when you connect with other bloggers and content creators in your niche.

Collaboration content tends to get a lot more traffic than content made solely with your input. One of the biggest reasons these types of content get more traffic is because the people you collaborate with will share and promote the content.

You might even get some links out of it which are good for your SEO.

When it comes to these types of Facebook groups don’t focus on promoting, focus on connecting, and sharing other people’s content. This is what is going to help with building relationships with content creators that you can collaborate with.

  1. Blogging Network
Bloggin Network Facebook group

Blogging Network has almost 32.000 members and is growing every day. This Facebook group makes it possible to connect with a lot of bloggers not only in your own niche but also in other niches. The Facebook group has strict rules which make sure that spammers don’t flood the Facebook group.

It might not be the best group to promote your content but it is a great group to start networking with other bloggers.

  1. Bloggers supporting bloggers
Bloggers supporting bloggers Facebook group

BSB is a great Facebook to connect with other bloggers because they encourage you to ask a lot of questions. You can connect with a lot of people and get your name out there just by helping people in the group.

I see BSB as a network/blog promotion Facebook group hybrid since it also has daily promotion threads that you can participate in to get more eyes on your content.

The only difference between the daily threads on the other groups and this one is that the moment you post something you have to help 5 other people. This will cause more people to share your content with their own audience.

Facebook groups that you should avoid

While a lot of Facebook groups are great for connecting with people and promoting your content there are a few Facebook groups I’d advise you to avoid.

Out of experience, I can say that it’s best to avoid Facebook groups where they focus mostly on link exchange and other blackhat(Methods of link building that go against Google’s guidelines) methods of getting traffic to your website.

Most of the people that are highly active on those Facebook groups got spammy websites that can hurt your SEO if you get links from them.

Final Thoughts

Promoting your blog content in Facebook groups is a great way to get eyes on your content but I have always considered it the “icing on the top”. It all starts with building a solid blog foundation that attracts website visitors passively and consistently.

That being said I’d use these Facebook groups as much as possible. Just 1 visit from someone influential in your niche can change the course of your blog and turn it into a high authority website should they collaborate with you.

Have you tried any of these Facebook groups or a Facebook group in general for promoting your content? let me know in the comment section.

That’s all for today.

Until the next post.
