Six Reasons Why You Should Try Affiliate Marketing

In this post I have some things to say about affiliate marketing.

I’ll be talking about :

  • What Affiliate Marketing is.
  • 6 reasons why you’d be interested in Affiliate Marketing.
  • How long it takes to be successful with Affiliate marketing.

What is affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is one of the oldest forms of marketing wherein you refer someone
to any online product and when that person buys the product based on your recommendation,
you receive a commission.

You can look for companies that have affiliate program that you could join, but there are
also sites with Affiliate Networks.

They’re like an online market place full of companies that have affiliate programs.
Examples of such networks are:

  • Clickbank
  • Terraleads
  • CJ Affiliate
  • Amazon Associates

There are many more.

You’ve probably already encountered a lot of affiliate marketers on the
internet without knowing.

For example whenever someone has a special code you can use to get a discount
on a purchase that probably is an affiliate code.

Most of the time the links on blogs that guide you to a certain site are
also affiliate links.

Pretty much every time somebody on the internet advises you to buy something
they’ll receive commission for guiding you there ( if they’re smart.)

You might be thinking about getting into affiliate marketing after reading this.

So I’ve summed up a few reasons why you should try affiliate marketing.

===> Interested in becoming an affiliate marketer click here.

1. No money required to start with Affiliate Marketing.

As an Affiliate marketer you’re selling someone else his product.

You don’t need to come up with an idea that you then need to
validate and everything.

You don’t need to invest money and time into creating your own products.

Becoming an affiliate of companies doesn’t cost any money.

The only thing you need is a website and maybe some social channels to
promote your offers.

2. Risk factor is very low.

You might be thinking about starting your own company.
There are many advantages to it.

  • Upgrading your lifestyle.
  • Flexible work hours
  • Being at the steering wheel of your own carreer.

But its risky.

Most startup that are created now won’t be here in five years.

Entrepreneurship has become a trend and not everybody notices the reality of
owning a company before its too late.

Affiliate Marketing is way less risky, because you don’t spend money
on creating products.

The only thing that you’ll be heavily investing is your time.

3. You’ll learn about sales and Marketing in a practical way.

Affiliate marketing can serve as a good introduction to entrepreneurship.

In contrary to what a lot of people think an entrepreneur is busy with a lot of
things that aren’t part of his main craft.

You might have a product or a service, but how do you get people’s attention esspecially
in this day and age when you’re confronted with offers everywhere you turn.

How do you convince people that your product is worth parting with their money and
why its better than a similar product.

Sales and Marketing are essential to a startup. You can try to learn it from a book, but
the only way to master it is to actually do it.

So how cool would be to have mastered this before you even start building your company.
Affiliate marketing provides you with that chance by learning about marketing and sales
in a practical way without taking risks.

4. It’s Possible to create passive income.

Affiliate marketing consits of refering people to companies their products.

A lot is possible when doing that. You could create a passive income.

If you’re good at copywriting and creating funnels or maybe you create a clickfunnel
the only thing you have to do is drive traffic to it.

Maybe if you’re a little savvy with it you could even determine a common goal of your
target audience, define their roadblocks and offer an affiliate product at every roadblock.

Turn that whole process into a program and voila you have a system that takes
maybe 30 minutes a day driving paid traffic to a funnel that will serve as your income.

5. Affiliate Marketing is Highly Scalable

Unless you choose to you aren’t working with every lead in person.
This makes it possible to automate a large part of the process which means you aren’t
trading hours in for money.

Starting and putting everything together will take hard work and a lot of time,
but as soon as everything is set up the workload can decrease if you choose to go
that route.

6. You’ll build up a list with people you can potentially
leverage for another
endeavor.

When you take the email of everybody you refer to companies its easy to
keep in touch with them.

So if you ever decide to create your own product or offer a service you already
have an audience that (if you do it the right way) trusts you and everything you offer.

You’ll spend less money on marketing and sales for your new endeavors.

I hope this gives you a little insight in what Affiliate Marketing is and
why its so popular.

A warning to the impatient people among us.

Affiliate marketing isn’t a method that will make you a millionaire in a few months.
To be successful in Affiliate Marketing takes time and hard work.

There’s no such thing as a get-rich-quick method.

You might be turned off by what I just said, but look at it like this.
It’s working hard & slowly get to the point where you have a passive income
and upgrade you lifestyle if that’s your wish

or…

Endlessly search for the get-rich-quick and easy method that doesn’t exist.

The alternative doesn’t sound that attractive does it.
