Over the last years, I’ve been busy creating reviews about all kinds of online products. Some turned out to be fake other were legit ways to make money online but in the process I learned how to spot scams.
In this post, I’ll show you absolutely everything you need to know about Cash Alarm and after reading it you’ll know exactly if you should give it a chance.

What Is The Cash Alarm?
Cash Alarm is a mobile app on which you can earn money by downloading and playing games.
The longer you play the games the more points you earn that you can exchange for money and gift cards.
The mobile app is currently only available for Android devices and I don’t see that changing anytime soon when I look at the history of this mobile app and its predecessors.
How does The Cash Alarm App work?
Getting started with a cash alarm isn’t complicated. I was able to play games and start earning points after 2 minutes by going through this 4-step process.
1. Download and Sign-up for Cash Alarm
You can find the Cash Alarm App on Google Play Store. You have to be careful not to download the wrong app.
There are currently 3 different apps in the Play Store that are named Cash Alarm.
After downloading the app you can sign-up by using your Google Account or your Facebook account. Without one of these, it’s not possible to sign-up for Cash Alarm.
You’ll also receive a sign-up bonus of 3333 points.
2. Download A game
The second step is to download the games. The games aren’t a part of the Cash Alarm app so you have to download the games in the app store.
In the beginning, there’s only one game you can play but the moment you download the first one other games start to appear that you can play.
3. Play Game
You earn point not by winning but just by participating. The Cash Alarm app will monitor how long you’re playing the games that you chose to play. After every minute you play you get awarded some points.
4. Cash-out
In the cash-out section, you can exchange your points for money or rewards.
The app is location-specific which means the awards available to you will differ depending on in which part of the world you are.
I haven't gotten my money yet so no screenshot of step 4.

These are two of the most trustworthy platforms online. Which means transactions will arrive at where they need to be.
Cons
- You have to download external apps
You have to download apps that take up space. - You have to give out your information before playing every game
Every game you download asks you for your personal information. - Games are location specific
Depending on your location you might not have access to some of the games. - slow payout
The payout can take weeks in some instances. - Time-consuming
Not getting paid enough for the time you invest in the app.
How much money can you make with Cash Alarm?
To answer this question we have to take a look at the rewards on Cash Alarm and the methods that Cash Alarm provides to make money.
Cash Alarm Rewards
I have talked about Cash Alarm with multiple reviewers and we all noticed the same thing. What rewards you get depends on where you’re located.
This is why I’m only discussing the rewards that were available to all reviewers no matter where they were located.
1. Paypal Cash out
The point you earn playing the game can be exchanged for money that’ll be deposited to your Paypal account. The threshold for cashing out is 3777 which gives you 0,40 euros which are around 0,32 dollars.
2. Amazon gift card
You can also exchange your coins for Amazon gift cards and pick a product on their website. The cheapest gift card is the 5 euro gift card for which you need 47065 coins.
3. Zalando
It’s also possible to exchange your coins for Zalando gift cards and pick a product on their website. The cheapest gift card is the 5 euro gift card for which you need 47065 coins just like on Amazon.
You derive from the rewards that 1000 roughly equals 0,10 cents.

Methods for making money on Cash Alarm
After being on the app for a few days I have concluded you can make money on the app in two ways.
- Downloading and playing games
- Join the affiliate program
Let’s take a look at how much money you can make with these two methods.
Playing the cash alarm games
This is the main method that Cash Alarm promotes in regard to making money. You download games from Google Play and earn points every minute you play the game.
From what I have seen most games between the 100 and 200 points per minute.
If you play one game that gives you 100 points per minute you’ll have to play 10 minutes to get 10 cents or 40 minutes to 40 cash out 40 cents on PayPal.
The Cash Alarm Affiliate Program
Aside from playing games, you can also earn money with the Cash Alarm Affiliate program. You’ll get an amount of 25% of the coins your referral earns on the platform and vice versa.
This way it’s possible to increase your earning potential by at least 125%.
Looking at these numbers you can see that the earning potential isn’t high on this app. I don’t see anybody earning more than 5 dollars on this app even if they really love to play the games.

What People Are Saying About Cash Alarm
From what I have seen it does look like you can make some money Cash Alarm with cash alarm but that is just my perspective this is why I wanted to see what other people are saying about it.
What other Cash Alarm reviewers have to say
First I went and looked at what other reviewers have high ranked reviews on search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
Summary: According to most of the reviewers, it is possible to make money with Cash Alarm but they put a lot of focus on something that’s is stated in the terms of the agreement saying that payment isn’t guaranteed.
There are a lot of people that never got their money after their app crashed in the middle of the pay-out process.
They also just like me came to the conclusion that the mobile app isn’t worth the time.
There are other methods that you can make money online that pay 10 to 100 times more than what you get here.

What Cash Alarm users have to say
There isn’t a consensus about Cash Flow. Some people think it’s a great app while others are complaining about slow payouts and not getting enough coins.
This makes me think maybe it’s just poorly run or the app has a lot of glitches because there are a lot of people that were able to cash out.
My Personal Take
Is Cash Alarm A Scam? I don’t think so.
When I look at my own experience with the mobile app and that of others I don’t think it’s a scam. I do think it’s a poorly run business.
Most people that are complaining about the Cash Alarm app aren’t satisfied with the time it takes for money to get deposited on Paypal or they having problems because of glitches that prevent them from earning more coins.
There are a lot of mobile apps on Google Play that look exactly the same and do the exact same thing which leads me to believe that they’re all using the same Mobile App template.
The problem with these kinds of apps is that it’s a one-time quick job to build them using generic code. This means they don’t get updated and glitches often get neglected.
Scam or Not.
I don’t think this mobile app is worth the time needed to make money. I’d rather go with a method that makes me earn at least a $100 a day so I actually get an appropriate return for my money.
Verdict
Is The Cash Alarm App A Scam?
After doing extensive research I've come to the conclusion that Cash Alarm isn't a scam but it's not legit either.
A lot of people have confirmed that you can make money on this app but because of glitches, it isn’t guaranteed that you’ll get your money.
I think the creators had the right intent when making this app but might have been negligent in the execution.
If you want to make money online I wouldn’t recommend this mobile app.
How To Make A $100 A Day
I can imagine the Cash Alarm App might not be the ideal method for making money online but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a method out there that you can make real money with.

I don’t need to handle direct sales, customer service, or inventory.
All I do is create helpful content that attracts people looking for information on Google.
These people click on my affiliate links that lead to helpful product and I earn commissions.
Unlike the Cash Alarm App this is a real method to make money online and requires hard work but the moment it’s set-up it’s operational 24/7 without needing a hands-on approach to keep it running.
It’s the closest thing to passive income.

Hi, the article is very thorough. I don’t think Cash Alarm is worth experimenting with for such little money, especially if afterwards you have problems to cash it out or have tech complications. If one enjoys playing online games it is okay to do it as a hobby and then claim some gift on amazon or even Zalando is not bad, though you have to be quite patient until you earn enough points.

What I like most about this app is that you can earn coins by inviting your friends to download it. This option is on the menu “invite friends”. You will be given a code that you can share. This way you can earn 25% of what your guests generate and likewise they will earn 25% of what you generate. So, in my opinion, it is a very good referral system.

Never heard of Cash Alarm. I am wondering how they earn money to make payouts. It seems to a theme with some apps that they pay but no-one really knows how they earn.

That’s a great question. I know that most apps like this earn their money through advertising. So if you see these types of apps but they display no ads its a dead giveaway that something sketchy is going on.
