What is The Lucky Day App
The Lucky Day App is a mobile app that offers free scratchers, lotto, and raffle games. According to Lucky Day, you can earn all kinds of rewards and even money by participating.
It’s a popular mobile app that has more than a million downloads and if I look at the number of monthly searches on Google keyword planners aren’t slowing down any time soon.
Lucky Day — The Company
The company behind the mobile app shares its name and is called the Lucky Day Entertainment inc. The founder and CEO of the Lucky Day app is Joshua Javaheri.
Lucky Day Entertainment Inc. was founded on September 16th in 2015 and according to its WHOIS information and the Better Business Bureau located in California.
What is important to know in judging if this is a scam or legit is its BBB-rating.
The BBB stands for Better Business Bureau. The BBB is an online market place focused on bringing legit businesses to the light and exposing unethical businesses.
The Better Business Bureau gave Lucky Day Entertainment Inc. an A-rating while having a lot of people that shared their experiences with the company which is a very good sign.
Pros
- The Lucky Day App Is Free!
No need to pay for signing-up. You can start immediately. - Payout through Paypal
Paypal is trusted by almost everyone because they consistently provide quality service.
Cons
- Takes too much time
The amount of time you have to dedicated to winning rewards or money isn’t worth it in my opinion. You could make 10 times more with surveys (and I think even those aren’t worth the time.). - You have zero control when it comes to winning.
The app picks winners at random which means you can’t influence the results. You could go years without winning anything.
How To Get Started With The Lucky Day App
To get a better understanding of what the Lucky Day App is about I tried it out myself. The Lucky Day App works by following these three steps.
1. Download and Sign-up
First, you need to download the application.
The Lucky Day App has both an Android and an iOs version which means it’s available to everyone that has a mobile phone.
You can find the App in the Google Play Store or the Apple Store.
After opening the application for the first time you’ll have to sign-up with either your email or Facebook.
2. play the games
After you have signed up you can begin playing games in exchange for tokens. There three different “games” you can play in exchange for tokens.
- Scratchers
- Lotto
- Raffle Games
While some games can be played whenever you feel like it such as scratchers others are time-specific.
I’ll elaborate on this when I’ll go into each game individually further in the review.
3. Cash-out
Depending on the game you play you either win cash or tokens. This is how the process of cashing out goes.
- Redeem cash
Cash gets redeemed through pay-pal. - Redeem Tokens
Tokens can get exchanged for rewards. Depending on your location what reward you can get differs.
For example, where I’m from you can only get Amazon gift cards with the tokens.
The Lucky Day App Games
There are three types of games that you can play in exchange for tokens or money.
1. Play Free Scratch Cards
This is just like playing free scratch cards in real life. Daily you’ll receive a specific amount of scratch cards.
The rules for the scratchers are simple you just scratch and if there are 3 of the same symbols on the scratcher you win a cash prize ranging from $1 — $1000.
I’m honestly not a fan of these kinds of games because you aren’t in control.
The app decides who gets the three symbols and who doesn’t.
The positive about the free scratch cards is that you get 25000 tokens just for participating.
2. Lotto
Lucky Day makes it possible to play digital lotto.
You start by picking 5 balls with numbers and after that 1 lucky ball with a number on it as I did in the screenshot.
A day later I got the notification that the lotto results were in..
Based on how many balls match the balls I drew you get a specific amount of tokens.
If all the balls match you win the jackpot of $100.000,-. Just like with regular lotto your chances of winning the jackpot are small but I have had up till 2 matches playing lotto.
3. Raffle games
The lucky day app does a weekly raffle where you can win money prizes. You start by clicking on the join raffle image on the main page of the Lucky Day App. You’ll automatically receive 1 ticket.
Lucky Day offers the option to get more raffle tickets by spinning a wheel that determines how many more raffle tickets you’ll get.
[As you can see, I got one raffle ticket extra and received some tokens just for spinning the wheels.
The winner will be determined on a specific date. One thing that is important to know is that you can only participate in one raffle at a time.
How Much Are Lucky Day App Tokens Worth?
You might notice when playing that get tokens for literally everything.
Some of the most simple actions like spinning a wheel to get more raffle tickets to earn you up to 1000 tokens.
This leads me to believe that these tokens are worth a lot less than I thought initially.
So the geek inside me started to do some math.
Where I’m from you can only get Amazon gift cards in the redeem rewards area of the app.
Here it says you can get a 5 euro gift card from Amazon if you have 8.700.000.
Since all actions give you at least 10000 tokens I calculated how much 1000 tokens are worth.
10000 tokens are worth 0.0057 euros this is roughly 0,0062 dollars.
This means you have to do around 877 actions to get a gift card.
Most of the games reward you just for participating so it’ll take somewhere around 800 games (if you don’t win any games) to earn this much money.
You also have to keep in mind that most games can only be played once a day which means you’re going to have to wait an insane amount of time before you can redeem an award.

The Lucky Day App Red Flags
The app decides who makes money
The moment you’re dealing with makes money online app where the app itself decides who makes money you should grow wary.
Nowhere on the app, they say how they decide who wins either which makes it possible that there aren’t any winners and you’re wasting your time.
Bad user ratings on Trust Pilot
Trust Pilot is one of the biggest user rating websites in the word. When you get a bad score there you can be pretty sure that the product isn’t worth the time.
Bad experiences from users on YouTube
There are a lot of people that say the same thing.
They could earn up till a certain point and after that, they couldn’t earn more no matter how many games they played. Some people were playing for months without getting anything in return.

My Personal Take On If The Lucky Day App Is A Scam
Is The Lucky Day App is a scam? Who Knows!
The Better Business Bureau says it’s a legitimate company while Trustpilot gave it very low ratings.
Two things can be true but I saw a comment on YouTube that raised a very good question.
How does Lucky Day Scam You Without Taking Your Money?
They could just be after your information and selling it to third parties like the comment above says.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they did this but I can’t say with 100% certainty that they do this and even if they did they could still payout some people.
So if you’re reading this let me know in the comments:
- Your experiences with Lucky Day
- If you think it’s a scam
- If companies suddenly tried to contact you after signing up
I’m curious to hear what you think about the Lucky Day App.
Verdict
Is The Lucky Day App A Scam? Who Knows!
After doing extensive research I've come to the conclusion that The Lucky Day App might not be a scam but it isn't legit either.
How To Make A $100 A Day
I can imagine the Lucky Day App might not be the ideal method for making money online but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a method out there that you can make real money with.
In 2018, I found an online marketing training platform with a step-by-step course that helped me build my own online business capable of earning $100 a day.
I don’t need to handle direct sales, customer service, or inventory.
All I do is create helpful content that attracts people looking for information on Google.
These people click on my affiliate links that lead to helpful product and I earn commissions.
Unlike The Lucky Day App this is a real method to make money online and requires hard work but the moment it’s set-up it’s operational 24/7.
No need for a hands-on approach to keep it running.
It’s the closest thing to passive income.
If you’re serious about making money online take a look at my #1 recommendation.
The first 10 lessons are free. You’ll get:
- Access to the majority of the functions on the platform.
- 2 free websites for you to use.
- Support and training from me and the founders of the platform.
That’s all for today. If you have any questions or you just want to show some love don’t hesitate to leave a comment.
See you at my next post
Thanks for the heads up on this product as you provided a lot of good info and insights into what this is all about. Even though I would not be interested in a product like this anyway, you have certainly saved people from wasting their time on this. All the Best. Joseph
Hey Joseph,
Yeah it’d be a shame to waste your time with these kinds of apps when there are
actual step-by-step courses that teach you how to have 100 dollar days.
Great article and the points that was brought up especially that one that says they might be selling your information to third party companies.
Even though I am not a user of this app however, from time to time I see apps like these pop up. I tend to ignore them due to the fact that you are not in control of wining, the app is, plus companies love our private information and they can make a lot of money selling it. Just be mindful of that.
Based on users reviews, it takes way too much effort to earn a small amount.
Hey Jordon,
Thanks for commenting. I think it’s wise to ignore app like this if you want to earn real money online.
After going through the entire app the selling of information thing turned me off the most.
