  • A proven brand that’s been around for +7 years.
  • The company delivers quality products.
  • Product pricing is reasonable compared to the market.
  • There’s a legitimate focus on selling products.
  • Reasonable startup and maintenance costs.
  • A good compensation plan.

Summary:
Healy is a device that helps your body maintain the frequency that’s associated with a healthy body. This product is distributed using multi-level marketing.

Healy doesn’t seem to be a pyramid scheme from a legal perspective and has a high commission rate but it does have some red flags in my opinion.

Read my Healy review to find out why both the products and the business model give me an uneasy feeling.

What is Healy and Healy World?

Healy is a wearable device that sends out microcurrents. A healthy body has a frequency between 62-72 megahertz as soon as this frequency drops people tend to be more susceptible to illness. Healy sends a current through your body the moment your bodies frequency drops lover than 62 megahertz to get you back to a healthy frequency.

Healy was created by Marcus Schmieke of whose headquarters is located in Germany. Aside from creating Healy he has also written multiple books and founded the Existential Consciousness Research Institute and a company called Timewave.

Healy has now created what they claim is an opportunity for people to create their own business with the help of Healy. Below I’ll explain if this is a viable business opportunity or an undercover scam.

How does Healy world work?

Healy is a company that distributes and manufactures Healy devices. Instead of directly selling it to consumers they have chosen to use the MLM model which gives you the choice to earn money by:

  • Selling the products for a commission
  • Recruiting people to earn bonuses.

What is MLM?

MLM (a.k.a network marketing or direct selling) stands for multi-level marketing.

According to Wikipedia, multi-level marketing is a marketing strategy for the sale of products or services where the revenue is derived from a non-salaried workforce.

As a part of this workforce, you sell the products from the company and/or you recruit people to do the same thing. This group of people you recruit will work under you and is referred to as your downline.

The bigger your downline is the more money you can earn passively (technically speaking) because you’re getting paid a percentage based on the performance of your downline.

This also means the person that recruited you which is called your upline is making money based on your performance.

The act of recruiting turns an MLM company into a pyramid-shaped organization where the first people to join make the most and are on the top of the pyramid and those last to join are at the bottom.

MLMs have been around for a long time. There are Multi-level marketing companies active today that was founded in the 1950s. MLM has a lot in common with pyramid schemes which is why scammers often use MLM to disguise their pyramid scheme.

Is it absolutely necessary to recruit people? No.

You can also stick to just selling products which you can order at wholesale price (25% discount) and re-sell to make a profit. This is easier said than done for multiple reasons which are why most members try to recruit others so they can earn more money.

How to join Healy?

There are two ways you can join Healy and start a Healy business. You can be recruited by an independent Healy member or you can go to healyworld.net pick where you’re located and sign up there.

After signing up you’ll have the rank “member” and you’ll have to purchase one of the Healy packages. You’ll also receive basic training to get you started and after that, you can start selling products and recruiting people to create your downline.

Is Healy A Pyramid Scheme?

To answer this question we need to know what a pyramid scheme is.

What is a pyramid scheme?

A pyramid scheme is a type of scam where people are promised money for joining the scheme and recruiting other people. No selling of a product or service is involved whatsoever.

So you might be wondering where the money comes from?

The people that join are expected to pay a one-time fee and in exchange for that, they get a percentage of the fee of everyone they recruit after that.

The problem is from a mathematical standpoint it’s impossible for everyone to make money because you simply run out of people.

Take a look at this picture below showing how it’s impossible for everyone to earn money.

A Pyramid_scheme

Source: Wikipedia

As you can see, in this pyramid model it’s required to recruit 6 people. You’ll notice from the 12th level and further, it’s not possible anymore for everyone to earn money.

The 2.2 Billion people on the 12th level need 13.1 billion recruits in total for them all to make money which is more people than there are currently on Earth.

Looking at the description of what a pyramid scheme is, Healy cant be classified as a pyramid scheme from a legal perspective. Healy sells products and has given people a method to make money without recruiting people.

That being said, there definitely is something a bit shady going on. Read below to find out what I mean.

Who benefits from Healy?

Who would benefit from joining Healy:

  • Expert salesmen
  • Expert recruiters
  • People that want to use Savvi products for themselves.

Who shouldn’t join Healy:

  • People that hate sales jobs.
  • People that hate recruiting
  • People that expect to earn passive income

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • High Commissions
The products are insanely expensive and the commission rate is high. If you’re actually able to sell their products you could make a lot of money.

Cons

  • Expensive products
The price of the products is both a pro and a con. It’s going to take a lot for people to actually buy these products. You’re going to have to build up a lot of trust and develop some high-level sales skills to succeed with Healy.
  • You have to pay to play
The cost to start your business are high. You’re reselling Healy products which means the financial risk is really high. I can see people easily lose large amounts of money maintaining their Healy business.
  • The science on it isn’t definitive
The science behind using Healy for anything other than relieving pain is non-existent which makes it that much harder to sell the products.

Healy Products

The main product that Healy world sells is their wearable Healy device that connects to your body with help of ear clamps and wristbands that’ll send the current through your body.

Healy has come up with different programs designed for all kinds of goals that you can purchase such as fitness, beauty, job, sleep, stimulation, skin, chakras etc.

The device and the products are also insanely expensive. I suspect this is done to be able to pay the multi-level marketers that distribute the product but it makes it almost impossible to sell.

It makes me wonder if there’s an actual focus on selling these products or if there is an anterior motive such as taking the money of the muli-level marketers investing their money every month.

Do Healy products work?

Well it depends on what you want to use it for.

The device are FDA cleared for relieve of pain but aren’t FDA approved. So these devices aren’t meant to cure or treat any kind of illness or dissease. This explains the rather vague descriptions of what the devices do when it comes to restoring your body to a frequency that’s associated to an healthy body.

You can get a great impression of what the limits of these products are by looking at what their affiliates are allowed to say to people they pitch Healy to.

Here’s a document stating what independent Healy members allowed to say. These documents are made based on the regulations of the FDA and the EMA to prevent Healy from getting fined.

By reading the document we can conclude:

  • That there are no studies supporting Healy products work for things beyond relieving pain.
  • That the non-medical programs haven’t been proven to work by western studies.
  • That there are no frequency studies supporting that you can improve your health with Healy products.

Here’s what Healy claims their products can do on their website:

  • Healy provides your body with the right frequencies
  • The HealAdvisor Search App* finds the right Healy IMF programs
  • The Digital Nutrition App* finds the food your body needs and suitable IMF Healy programs that contain the resonant frequencies for individual vitamins and minerals for the harmonization of your Bioenergetic Field
  • The Healy Watch measures parameters of your body which help to evaluate which Healy IMF programs are best for you.

They’re not directly saying it contributes to your health but it written in an clever way that most people assume it does. It’s a bit shady but you can’t say that they’re lying about their product because of the way they use their wording.

How much can you earn with a Healy business?

From a technical standpoint, the sky is the limit but there is a reason they put the following text in the pdf explaining the Healy compensation plan.

Healy earnings disclaimer

Why aren’t people earning decent money with MLM companies like Healy?

I have summed up the reasons why it’s hard to make money with Isagenix and MLM companies in general into 3 points.

1. MLM’s are often associated with pyramid schemes
MLM’s have a pyramid recruiting structure that you often have to join to be able to make decent money or at the very least not lose money. The problem is a lot of pyramid schemes disguise themselves as MLM programs making it difficult to differentiate the two.

This is the biggest problem why most distributors have a difficult time recruiting people. The moment people hear about how you can make money by recruiting people red flags appear in most people’s minds.

2. You have to consistently invest your money to earn commissions
You’re only eligible for bonuses and commissions if you buy their products. The bigger the bonuses the more product you have to buy. You do get discounts but if you can’t sell the products I can see you easily fall into a financial deficit (which happens to the majority of MLMs).

3. The price of the product often isn’t aligned with the market

It’s hard for a multi-level marketer to sell products because most MLM products tend to be a lot more expensive than similar products sold by non-MLM companies. This means even if you’re really good at recruiting your downline still needs to sell those same expensive products for you to make decent money.

You can see that translate in these statistics I found about Multi-level Marketing.

  • Nearly half (47%) of MLM participants reported that they lost money.
  • One in four (27%) MLM participants reported that they broke even (made no money).
  • MLM participants are 7% more likely to declare bankruptcy during their lifetime.
  • Direct sales have risen 79% in the last decade, but MLM participants continue to lose money.
  • 90 – 99% of distributors in multilevel marketing only receive a couple of hundred dollars commission per year.
  • Out of 33,000 interviewed, 90 people made enough money to cover costs in building their business.
  • 50% of the people who start a network marketing enterprise abandoned it in the first year.

Healy Reviews, Opinions, and Ratings

To keep this as objective as possible I wanted to look at what others had to say about Healy. Here are the opinions of a few groups.

Bloggers on Google

The bloggers that have reviewed Healy and are ranked on Googled all pretty much came to the same conclusion. This can be summarized in these 3 points:

  • It’s not a pyramid scheme from a legal perspective
  • The chances of succeeding are extremely low
  • It’s hard to prove that Healy actually works.

YouTube Reviews

YouTuber are divided when it comes to the science behind Healy and the MLM model you can use to make money with it. Most active members are very positive about Healy while ex-members and other members seem to be very negative about it.

Here's an example of an ex-member.

My Personal Take

The company sells an actual product which is why it can’t be called a pyramid (from a legal perspective) but your chances of succeeding with this model are extremely low.

You have to invest too much money to start and maintain your business and because it the products aren’t supported by scientific studies outside those of Healy themselves it makes it harder to sell these products.

I’m not one to completely dismiss alternativeways of healing but the way they word things on their website I find a bit sketchy. I don’t recommend this opportunity for making money and starting a business.

Verdict

Is Healy a scam or pyramid scheme? No but I can’t call it legit either.
