About the Founder of Smart Dollars Club

You can learn a lot from researching the track record of the founder of a product.

This is why I always start by researching the founder of the product/ website.

In this case, I tried to find the name of the founder of Smart Dollars Club by looking for his name on the website but it wasn’t on there.

This doesn’t necessarily have to be a bad thing. There are a lot of entrepreneurs out there that don’t want their name out there or just aren’t comfortable with the spotlight. This doesn’t mean they can’t be found on other platforms.

I don’t know any entrepreneur that isn’t proud of what they created so in these kinds of cases you can always find some sort of information about them on other social platforms.

The first social platform I tried to find the founder on was Linkedin because most founders will still mention their business on Linkedin. I couldn’t find anything on the founder or even the Smart Dollars Club itself.

I also tried Facebook to see if I could find a Smart Dollars Club Facebook page that could lead me in the right direction. I couldn’t find anything on Facebook either. This doesn’t have to mean that it’s a scam but it does give me a bad feeling about Smart Dollars Club.

In short, there isn't any information about the founder of Smart Dollars Club on the internet

How does Smart Dollars Club work?

According to Smart Dollars Club, the process for making money online with Smart Dollars Club is pretty straightforward. I read more than a few Smart Dollars Club reviews that warned me not to sign-up because of security issues but since the website does have an SSL certificate I gave it a chance.

Just like the sales page mentions you have to go through three steps but it does go a little bit different than mentioned on the sales page.

1. Sign up for free

Smart Dollars Club Step 1 Sign up for free

Step 1 is to sign up for free and instantly get access to paid survey websites by giving your email address. You can indeed sign-up for Smart Dollars Club for free. You just need to fill in your email address and a confirmation email will be sent to your inbox.

You click on the link and you instantly get access to Smart Dollars Club.

2. Receive customized and exclusive offers

Smart Dollars Club Step 2 receive exclusive offers

The moment after I confirmed my email address I was expecting to get access to a dashboard where I could overview things like How many surveys I have taken, how much money I have earned, and how many surveys I have applied for but Smart Dollars Club doesn’t have a section that provides you an overview.

You’ll immediately get directed to the first survey you can take. The first survey I got taken to was from a website called Zen surveys. The moment I was redirected to the page I got my first disappointment because I saw the red colored sentence.

Zen surveys redirect

They don’t pay out $100 for filling out surveys.

3. Cash out

Smart Dollars Club Step 3 Cash Out

Contrary to what a lot of people say on in their reviews it is possible to make money with Smart Dollars Club. It just isn’t the amount that is promised. I have tried to sign up for two surveys on the website and you'll get directed to some pages and nothing happens.

Who can benefit from Smart Dollars Club?

Who would benefit from purchasing this product

  • Nobody

Who shouldn’t purchase this product:

  • People expecting to make $100 per survey.
  • People that want to make a full-time income online.
  • People that want to make a side-income online.

Red Flags

The sales page does indeed look nice but after signing up and trying it out you’ll notice that the chance to earn real money is low.

These are some of the red flags I came across while trying out surveys on Smart Dollars Club that prove you’ll never make as much money as they promise on the sales page.

Red Flag #1: Claims of earning +$300 on the first day

The call to action for opting in states that you can earn more than 300 dollars on your first day. This might sound good to people that have never filled out a survey for money before but those that have to know that this isn’t possible.

100 dollar Bonus claim

Even the highest-paid survey websites don’t pay you more than a dollar for every survey you fill out.

People often don’t realize how much $300 a day is. No company is going to spend that much money per person for information.

Red Flag #2: No Survey Screening Process

Some of these surveys (others are just promotional links) will tell you that you have been selected out of more than 1000 people to participate.

This often happens on survey websites but some of these websites didn’t use any method to find out if I’m suitable for taking the survey which makes you question why these websites would ever pay +$100 for filling out a survey.

Red Flag #3: The Bonus survey for $100 that serves as a reward for signing up is deceiving

On the sales page, there is a call to action to sign up for Smart Dollars Club. Just like with any good opt-in they add a lead magnet (reward in exchange for giving your email address) to get people to sign up.

Smart Dollars Club chose to give a special survey that functions as a lead magnet. This is a good idea because getting people to try out your product immediately with your lead magnet.

The only problem is that the moment you get redirected to the survey the first thing that is stated is that you won’t earn $300 taking this survey.

My Personal Take

Smart Dollars Club makes a lot of false claims on their sales page. There are a lot of products on the internet that exaggerate the results you’ll get by using their products but this is extreme. In most cases, you won’t even make more than a dollar with the surveys they offer.

It’s a shame because judging from their copy the website does have potential. If they told the truth about the earning potential of Smart Dollars Club and they created an area where you can manage all your information I could imagine this becoming a successful entrepreneurial endeavor.

While it is possible to make money with Smart Dollars Clu I wouldn’t recommend it to people that want to make money online. Getting less than 5 cents for every survey you fill out is nothing compared to how much money you could make using other methods to make money online.

Is Smart Dollars Club legit?

After doing extensive research I've come to the conclusion that Smart Dollars Club is scam.

I came to this conclusion based on these facts:

  • False claims about the earning potential
  • No screening for supposedly high-earning surveys
  • False claims about the reward survey
