Opinion World is a website where people can give their opinion about various subjects in exchange for points. These points can be exchanged for money, gift cards, discounts, and claim codes.
The feedback you give will be used by Dynata one of the greatest data and insight platforms. Even though it’s not much it is possible to make money with Opinion World.
You do have to take into account that you can only become a member when you live in the US and you won’t be invited to take surveys daily which means it’s not possible to turn it into a stable source of income.

Recommended: Yes but only if you just want to make a small amount of money now and then.
The Founder of Opinion World
The track record of the founder can say a lot about a business this is why I tried to find some information about the founder of Opinion World. The first place I went to look for some information regarding the founder of Opinion World was Google.
This is where I found out that Opinion World is owned by Dynata (formerly know as Researching Now and eRewards an Online data panel) one of the largest online marketing research firms founded by Harold Brierley and Mort Meyerson in Dallas Texas.

Dynata has been around since 1999 and is active until this day. I haven’t been able to find out why exactly they rebranded the business and started calling it Dynata but from what I’ve seen their track record is clean and they’re doing good work.
How does Opinion World work?
Opinion World is the tool they use to gather data from people all over the world. They do this by having people participate in surveys. They analyze this information analyze it and sell it to their clients.
I’m aware that most people reading this page aren’t interested in what Dynata does and just want to know how to make money with Opinion World but I think it does give credibility to why Opinion World.
In regards to how to make money with Opinion World you just have to follow a simple 3-step process.
3 Steps to making money with Opinion Work
1. Sign-up and create an Opinion World Account
On the official website of Opinion World, you can become a member of Opinion World free of charge. The only thing they need to know is your:
- First name and last name
- Email address
- Gender
2. Complete Surveys and receive points
The moment you become a member you are eligible to take surveys. Opinion World will contact you through email with invitations to complete surveys. You’ll still have to qualify for the survey afterward.
The moment the qualification is finished you can take surveys of which each survey has a duration of 10-15 minutes which you’ll receive points for.
3. Exchange points and get compensated
These points can be exchanged for awards on the Opinion World website. You can use these points to get paid through Paypal, receive Amazon gift cards, or use the points to purchase something in the Opinion World webshop.
Opinion World’s Quickthoughts app, not active
According to the website, they also have an app so you can fill out surveys on the go. I have tried to download the app but it’s not in the play store and can’t be accessed from the link.
I don’t know if they’re still working on getting the app up and running. The website looks a bit dated but disclaimers are being updated so we’ll have to wait to see if they do anything with the Quickthoughts app.

- People looking for pocket change once in a while without having to leave your house.
Who shouldn’t invest time in Opinion World:
- People outside of the United States
- People looking for a full-time online income
- People looking for a consistent income source (big or small)

My Personal Take
Opinion World does deliver on its claims. It is possible to make money with Opinion World but it isn’t for everyone. The fact that only people in the US can become members of Opinion World excludes a lot of people from this opportunity.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they eventually open it up for other countries because the clients of Dynata are from all over the world. I do think it’s a shame you can’t get more invitations. The inconsistency in invitations to surveys makes it hard to earn a decent income with surveys.
I do like that they have the opportunity to exchange your points for money which gets paid out through Paypal.
I think there are better ways to make money online but for those that don’t mind getting an invitation once in a few months, it couldn’t hurt to join.
Verdict
Is Opinion World A Scam?
After doing extensive research I've come to the conclusion that Opinion World is Legit.
I can’t recommend it to everyone because:
- You can’t become a member if you live outside of the US
- You won’t be able to complete surveys daily
- Earning potential isn’t high enough to create it into a full-time income.
Alternatives
Opinion World might not be ideal for making a full-time income online but there are other products out there that are legit.
