2019 Panda Research Review

Overview

Name: Panda Research
Website: pandaresearch.com
Founder: A&A marketing inc
Price: free
Rating: 1/10

How does Panda Research work?

Panda Research is a paid survey website founded in 2005 by A&A marketing inc as a means for people to make money online. Unlike for example Nextgen Paid Surveys you can register for free and start making money.

There are a few things you have to take into account before you try to sign up for panda research. First, you have to be at least 18 to create an account and you have to live in the united states of America.

Ways to make money
Like a lot of survey websites, there are multiple ways that you can earn money on the website. These are a few of them:

  • Surveys
This is the main method being advertised as how you can make money on Panda Research. Third party companies that want feedback on their new products and services often partner up with websites like Panda Research and give them surveys to give to their members. In exchange for completing a survey, Panda Research will reward you with money.
  • Emails
Panda research will send you emails and you can earn rewards for reading the emails.
  • Offers
You can earn rewards including money with cashback offers.
  • Affiliate earnings
Promote Panda research and get a 10% commission.

Who would benefit from purchasing this product

  • People that are looking for quick cash,
  • People that don’t expect to make a lot of money but find having some pocket change come in handy.
  • People that shop a lot and might be able to take advantage of the cashback offers,

Who shouldn’t purchase this product:

  • People who want to create a sustainable side income
  • People who want to make money online full time
  • People that don’t like filling out surveys.

My first impression

When I arrived on the website I noticed it was pretty dated. The footer even had a copyright text on it that was made in 2005. The website looks like it hasn’t been updated in years.

Despite the old look, it does have all the information you need to find out what Panda Research is all about and if it’s a good fit for you.

They don’t make any crazy promises, they mostly just provide you with information. I mostly see this as a good sign to see if a website is a scam or not.

These are the promises they make on the website:

  • Earn money by completing their paid surveys and offers.
  • Learn how you can receive coupons, giveaways, and discounts
  • Earn additional income by referring your friends
  • Earn income by reading emails (Max $25 per payout)
  • Get paid through PayPal by the 1st and the 15th every month

First impression:
It looks old but it doesn’t look shady.

Pros and Cons of Panda Research

Pros

+ Free registration
No payment is needed to sign up. Just fill out their signup form and you can begin immediately.
+ Multiple methods of earning money online

Next to surveys you can make money with cashback offers, reading emails, and their referral program.
+ A lot of cashback offers
A lot of opportunities to make money while you are buying things you would’ve bought anyway.

Cons

– Not everyone is able to earn money on Panda Research
On the main page, there’s a signup form you have to fill out to see if you’re eligible for filling out paid surveys in other words not everybody can make use of the surveys. In terms of agreements, they also say that they don’t pay everyone that participates.
– People from other countries can’t have access to Panda Research

Foreigners can’t use Panda Research. My guess is that it’s because the third party companies aren’t targeting people from other countries.
– Amount of cash not worth the time
You won’t earn a lot of money on Panda Research. The most you might get per finished service is $25 which is very rare. Most surveys are in the $3-$5 range which means you’re going to have to complete a lot of surveys to make some real money.
– Limited supply of surveys

There’s no unlimited amount of surveys you can participate the moment you sign up. Which means your potential earnings will always be limited to the number of surveys that are on the website.

Red Flags of Panda Research

Red Flag #1: Weak Testimonials

On the website, you see two testimonials. Both aren’t really convincing it’s just text some names and nothing you can use to trace if these are actual people. It could be because the website was made in 2005 and hasn’t been updated since at least 2011 but I don’t like to take chances with these kinds of websites.

Red Flag #2: Confusing but alarming user reviews and ratings

To make this review objective I thought I’d include the reviews of users. I have to say some of them were very confusing and make me think they’re fake while others gave me a lot of insight about Panda Research.

Although being a member for 6 years seemed a little weird to me if you’re not satified with the service the fact that she said she had to pay for things as a member stuck with me.

There’s also one that says he accumalated over $60.000 with the surveys which also seemed weird to me but the part about selling your contact information is something a lot of scam websites do.

The last one talks about needing to leave your creditcard details after fullfilling a survey to complete your free trial offer which seems very sketchy if you ask me. Why would they need your creditcard information?

There’s a lot here what makes me think these testimonials could be fake but I’ve seen a lot more testimonials like these talking about needing to leave information that you normally wouldn’t need to run a paid survey website.

Verdict

In a lot of ways, this website reminds me of swagbucks and I wouldn’t be surprised if this was where they got the idea from but they’re very different at the same time. While swagbuck is a legitimate paid survey website I don’t believe this one to be that.

Is Panda Research a Scam? Yes. There’s not a lot to convince me other wise.
