Paid2Tap: Scam or Make-Money Opportunity?

Today we’re taking a look at Paid2Tap.

You probably came to this page because you wonder if Paid 2 Tap is legit or a scam?

No need to worry you’re in the right place for the answers to these questions.

Over the last years, I’ve been busy creating reviews about all kinds of online products.

Some turned out to be fake others were legit ways to make money online but in the process, I learned how to spot scams.

In this post, I’ll show you absolutely everything you need to know about Paid2Tap and after reading it you’ll know exactly if you should give it a chance.

What is Paid2Tap?

Sharecash claims to be the #1 influencer earning network. This isn’t the first time I have heard a website say this despite knowing Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram exist and most of the time it spells nothing good.

According to their website, Paid2Tap was created in 2015 in The Netherlands to help people earn money by playing games, online activities, and referrals through social media.

While their “about” page says a lot of good things after some research I found out some things that worry me. Below I’ll break down what I found and why I believe you shouldn’t get involved with Sharecash.

How does Paid2Tap work?

While I’d advise you not to get involved, I can understand that people might want to know more about how Paid2Tap works. This is why included this in the review.

Paid2Tap claims people can make an average monthly pay of $8,150 by completing surveys, doing online activities, and basically becoming an affiliate marketer for Paid2Tap following a simple 3-step process.

1. Join Paid2Tap
You can join by filling out the opt-in form on the website. According to the website, at that point, you join a community with thousands of members (but you can’t communicate with any of them). You’ll also receive a $25 bonus just for signing up.

2. Share and Earn
You’ll receive a unique link that you can use to refer people to Sharecash and for each referral, you can earn money.

3. Get Paid
After earning money, you can withdraw it through PayPal, CashApp, Venmo, Zelle, or mailed checks.

This is how it should work but after some research and looking at some of the experiences other users have had I noticed this is far from the truth.

In fact, it doesn’t work at all.

What they’ll do is when you try to cash out your earnings tell you, you have to do at least 5 tasks on their offer walls which require you to give up information such as your mobile phone number and more.

The moment you give your mobile phone number you’ll get harassed with texts promoting all kinds of offers that can be very expensive depending on where you’re located in the world.

Aside from the 5 tasks you also have to:

• Get 20 clicks from different people on your referral link
• Refer 5 people to Paid2Tap
• Earn at least $500 (which is pretty much impossible)

They’ll only tell you this after you invest time and try to cash out your earnings.

Who benefits from using Paid2Tap?

The only group that benefits from Paid2Tap are the people that created this website. It’s almost impossible to meet the requirements to earn enough money to cash out. 

Red flags of Paid2Tap

Red Flag #1: Fake founder and team

Most of these websites have an unknown founder but I guess they learned from that and are trying a new approach. Creating a fake team. On the Paid2Tap website, they put up some pictures of their founders and their team. 

It took a simple Google search to find the same pictures on other websites but they’re edited differently. Unless it’s a requirement for employers of Paid2Tap to have sold their pictures to stock websites I doubt these are real.

Red Flag #2: Average monthly income

The average monthly income they describe is absolutely insane. That type of income would immediately put you in the top 10% earners in the United States. This just doesn’t add up with how many members they claim to have on the website. 

If it had so many people earning that much by referring people through social media it’d have an enormous social media presence. You’d see people promoting their links everywhere.

They claim to have been around since 2015 and I have been reviewing “make money online” opportunities since 2018. I have never heard about them until a few weeks ago. 

Red Flag #3: Fake “about me” page

The “about me” page is a dead giveaway that at the very least this website isn’t 100% truthful. When you look at their history it just takes a few simple Google searches to get to the truth. 

For example, the history of paid2tap is very similar to other scam websites. They all supposedly were created in 2015 in The Netherlands but according their WHOIS information the website is 58 days old. 

All these websites claim that they have been mentioned featured in Forbes and/or Business Insider. I did a Google search and just like the other scam websites, no feature was found on either the Forbes and Business Insider website.

Apparently, it’s an award-winning network. On Google, there’s not a single mention of this website that’s just a few months old has won any awards. It’s also a weird fact to mention if you’re not going to add the name of the award.

Red Flag #4: Payout terms to squeeze information out of you

To withdraw your money they’re going to ask you to do tasks on their task wall. The problem is that to be able to do the tasks they’re going to demand you give your mobile phone number and in some cases ask for all kinds of personal details.

I don’t know any influencer earning network or GPT website that demands you give that information so you can withdraw your money. It just confirms that this is a very sketchy website.

Red Flag #5: It seems to be a clone website

Paid2Tap is definitely a clone website with some minimal changes to make it look like an original website. They promise the exact same things the other clone websites do and also can’t deliver on those promises.

How exactly does Paid2Tap scam you?

That’s the most important question. 

At first sight, it seems a bit weird to call it a scam website because you can join for free but it definitely is a scam.

There are a lot more ways to scam people than taking their money. I’m not 100% sure but I think Paid2Tap is selling the information of their members. It’d explain why they encourage people to refer more people with ridiculous bonuses they’ll never get.

Companies will pay a lot for information about their potential customers because it makes selling their products easier. Paid2Tap “pressures” people to give their information and comes with impossible terms for withdrawing money.

I have noticed you get a lot of promotional texts after doing tasks on the offer wall.

Verdict

Is Paid2Tap a scam? Yes. It is without a doubt a scam.

It’s one of many clone websites on the internet that we suspect is trying to steal your information and sell it to companies. Unlike the other websites, a bit more effort has been put into this website. 

They have added fake founders with stock photos and they even put fake testimonials but it’s still the same scam.

Recommendation

Paid2Tap might not be what it presented itself to but there are other products out there that are legit.
