Is Click Earners A Scam? Why Ex-Members Complain.

Welcome to my Click Earners Review. 

I assume by clicking on this page you have at least once asked yourself the question is Click Earners a scam or is it legit? 

In this post, I’m going to show you everything I have found out by reviewing this website. I have been reviewing websites like clickearners.com for years and as a result, I have become very good at spotting online scams.

I’m am in no way associated with this website. Everything you’ll read below is my honest take on this website.

Now let’s get into it.

Click Earners Review — Is Click Earners A Scam?

What is Click Earners?

Click Earners is an info product that provides information and resources for earning money online as a virtual assistant. The website has been around since 2017 and has listings on Clickbank an affiliate product marketplace. 

What Click Earners is and what it claims to be are 2 different things. 

According to the website, it makes it possible to work from anywhere you want doing online tasks of your choice but when I did a bit of research I noticed that not everything adds up. 

I’ll show you exactly how I came to this conclusion based on the claims Click Earners makes on their website. Here’s a list of all the claims that are made on the Click Earners homepage.

• There are various tasks and projects available for you to choose from.
• Flexible, you can set your own work hours.
• You can work from home or anywhere you want 
• Suitable for any age, ability, or background
• They’ll email you with suitable opportunities

When you look at all the promises they made on the homepage, you’d think it’s a platform comparable to Fiverr or Upwork but the fact that it’s a Clickbank product already makes it different because Clickbank products cost money.

How does Click Earners work?

Click Earners has a straightforward 4-step process for joining.

1. Join Click Earners
It’s safe to say that most people will be directed from the Clickbank to the Click Earners website but you can also just Google it. When you’re on the website you can join by filling out their opt-in form. 

After filling out the opt-in form, you will be asked how many hours you’re available and will be directed to a membership page.

2. Choose a membership
After sharing how many hours you’re available, you’ll be directed to a new page where you can choose a membership. According to the page, dependent on where you’re from the prices of the 2 memberships will be different. 

I got a message saying there aren’t a lot of members from the Netherlands and because of that I could get a 50% discount on the memberships. 

3. log in to the member’s area
After choosing a membership, you’ll be directed to the member’s area where you’ll have access to documents with information about succeeding as an online assistant.

4. Start working
After becoming a member, you’re supposed to be able to choose online jobs and regularly get emails from Click Earners with Job opportunities.

As you can see, this is different from most online job platforms. Most platforms allow you to join for free and in exchange, they’ll take a percentage of your earnings. 

They also have an area where people can find you and you can provide them with information about your services. Click Earners doesn’t have an area like that on their platform. 

What type of Jobs are on Click Earners?

It’s easy to confuse what is possible and what is the reality on the Click Earners homepage. I don’t know if this is done on purpose but I can imagine people getting frustrated because they overlooked important details about Click Earners. 

One of the things that are very confusing is the area on the home page where they list online tasks. Here’s a list of the tasks that are being mentioned on the website.

At first glance, it made me think that these are the jobs that you can pick from the moment you become a member by the way it’s presented.

On the website below the opt-int form, it says in small letters that they’ll regularly email you with suitable opportunities. This reminds me of websites such as Survey Compare which are survey aggregators but instead of making it free, they charge you money.

Who benefits from Click Earners?

The only people that are benefiting from Click Earners are the founders of the website. They’re the only ones that are guaranteed to earn money when people become a member. The members themselves get a few resources that in all honesty don’t give them an advantage in the online assistant genre.

Inside Click Earners 

I touched on this a bit already but I haven’t gone into details when it comes to Click Earners. If you were expecting a task wall where you can pick online jobs and you can promote yourself then I’ll have to disappoint you. 

There are no online jobs in Click Earner. Click Earner only provides you with a few manuals, links to online job portals, links to Virtual assistant Facebook groups, and CV templates.

The information ins the manuals is also very simple and a bit dated. You could find more meaningful information just by doing a simple 30-second Google search.

Pros and Cons

Pros

• Click Earners has a 60-day guarantee
  Click Earners is a product that is listed on Clickbank which means they have to adhere to their 60-day guarantee. The problem is getting a response from them in time.
• Honest Terms of Service
  They might not be 100% transparent on their homepage but when you go to their term of services page you can see exactly what you’ll get once you become a member.
• The manuals and templates
  The resources on Click Earners might not be mindblowing and you’re definitely overpaying for them but at least they have some on the platform. There are a lot of scam platforms out there that won’t give you anything.

Cons

• No Jobs are available to choose from on the Click Earners platform
  The website itself doesn’t give you the opportunity to choose online jobs. It simply gives you some resources that should help you with becoming an online assistant. 
• No real support is offered at Click Earners
  Click Earners has a reputation of responding months later or not at all. The level of customer service is very low on this platform.
• Click Earners memberships are expensive
  The price for joining the platform is incredibly expensive and they only reveal the prices after you have given your information to them.

Click Earners Red Flags 

Red Flag #1: No links for companies to submit their openings

The website promises you’ll get emails when tasks are available that fit you. My question would be where are those jobs coming from? You’d expect at the very least they’d have a page dedicated to collecting job opportunities from companies. 

Maybe they’ve another website or channel they use for it but it’s rare for a business that wants to be successful to leave out an opportunity like that, that can provide them with more jobs for their members.

Red Flag #2: Ambiguous copywriting 

The copywriting is done in a way that makes you think the moment you become a member it’ll be possible to make money on the platform. It’s only when you start to read the terms of service and notice the things that are not written on the homepage that you begin to understand what Click Earners really is. 

For example when they list online jobs on the homepage. They don't mention that you can find these jobs on the platform but you instantly make that connection because of the way the list is presented.

When you type in your email address and get directed to another page it becomes a different story though. All of a sudden they say there are jobs available to choose from. This is the same page on which they tell you that you have to pay for a membership for the first time.

Red Fag #3: Having to pay for the job portal

There are hundreds of websites that offer opportunities to earn money doing jobs online and you know what the ones that are legit all have in common. 

They’re free to join.

You’re basically paying up to $57 in some cases, for the information you can find simply by doing a quick Google search and the hope that they’ll email you when there are job opportunities. 

I consider this to be a huge red flag.

Red Flag #4: Unknown founder

Nowhere on the internet is there information about the founder of Click Earners. It’s not uncommon for founders to leave their names on the company website but not finding them on Linkedin or anywhere else on the internet is strange.

On its own, I wouldn’t call this a red flag necessarily but in combination with all the other things I have seen while doing my research, this does worry me. 

Red Flag #5: Bad ratings

The most useful information often comes from the members of the platform. Most of the time the reviews are a mix of people being a bit overenthusiastic about a product and calling it God’s gift from heaven or they absolutely hate it. 

In this case, there’s no mix of these groups. I couldn’t find a single positive review about Click Earners.

Most of them have either a problem with them mentioning the fee after you fill out your information, not getting any response when people want a refund, or spamming them with other fake websites that do the exact same thing they do.

Red Flag #6: Sketchy Testimonials

Testimonials are usually put on a website to create trust. These just don’t seem real considering how everyone on the internet talks about Click Earners. It’s understandable that not everyone wants to share their picture on a testimonial but they haven’t even added the first name to the testimonial.

There’s no way to verify if these testimonials are real. 

How much does Click Earners cost?

From what I have gathered about the costs for joining Click Earners it differs per country. When I registered they gave me an offer with a 50% discount because I was based in The Netherlands. I could choose either a lifetime membership of $37, or a 12-month membership of$17. 

At first, I suspected they probably give that discount to everyone but after asking some people I found out for people based in the United States it’s $57 for a lifetime membership and $27 for a 12-month membership.

The 50% discount would mean that the original price for a lifetime membership is $74 and for a 12-month membership is $34. This is in my opinion incredibly expensive for a website that only gives a few documents and links to actual online job websites.

Can you make money with Click Earners?

No. You can’t make money with the resources that they provide within Click Earners. They only provide you with some informational pdf files and links to websites that offer online jobs.

In theory, the resources they provide should help you with getting hired and earning money but the resources are so basic that they won’t make you stand out.

Click Earners Support?

The majority of the links on the website that are dedicated to supporting will direct you to their email address. The problem is that Click Earners has a reputation of either not responding or taking a few months before replying to emails.

After reading some of the complaints of not getting a response I used an email verification tool just to see if they use a real email address. It turns out it’s a real email address and that Click Earners is extremely bad at communicating with their members. 

If that’s is intentional to avoid having to give refunds I don’t know but if you decide to try it out keep in mind that communication isn’t going to go smoothly.

The only support links that do get a quick response are directed at Clickbank which basically means that Click Earners doesn’t offer any real support.

The other is directed at a FAQ section that answers most of the simple questions you could get the answer to just by looking at the information on the home page.

Click Earners vs. Traditional online job platforms Fiverr and Upwork

The Click Earners homepage by leaving some information out gives the impression that once you sign up you’ll get access to platforms similar to Fiverr or Upwork. 

Click Earners is not like Fiverr or Upwork at all.

• In contrary to Click Earners, you can choose online jobs on Fiverr and Upwork.
• You don’t have to pay to become a member of Fiverr or Upwork.
  That isn’t the case for Click Earners.
• Fiverr and Upwork offer real support for platform problems.
  Click Earners doesn’t do that.

This sets Click Earners apart from traditional online job platforms but not in a good way in my opinion.

My Personal Take

This website in my opinion is a bit shady. The copywriting on the homepage says just enough to get people’s expectations up but leaves out some very important things that’d probably make people think twice before joining Click Earners.

It’s not illegal but it is deceiving in my opinion. 

The main problem starts when you fill out your email and your name. Only after you have given your information do they mention prices for joining. People could easily sell this information to third parties and earn a lot of money.

They have your name, email address, and they know you’re interested in doing online jobs. This might explain why they’d send emails with “online job opportunities” which could be promotional offers from third parties in disguise.

It’s on this page that they also continue making claims that can be interpreted wrong such as:

• being able to choose tasks that suit you.
• getting paid per hour, per day, or per project.
• Getting paid by Paypal or Bank transfer.

The resources you get when you become a member are underwhelming and can easily be found on Google. Click Earners would have a lot less bad ratings if they were more transparent with how they run their business on the homepage.

That being said, I wouldn’t recommend Click Earners to anyone.

Verdict

Is Click Earners A Scam? It is shady but I can’t officially call it a scam.

The title on the homepage says that they’ll teach you about becoming a freelance online assistant. The problem is the slight deceiving copywriting afterward. They leave a lot of information out which makes you think it’s an online jobs website which it is not. 

My Alternative: Learn How To Make +$100/day Niche Websites

It’s a shame that Click Earners isn’t the website it claims to be but that doesn’t mean there aren’t legit websites out there.

In the past, I have been duped by a website just like Click Earners. I remember looking at my bank account full of frustration. Since then it’s rare that I purchase products without some sort of recommendation by someone I know or a trial period.
