Some turned out to be fake others were legit ways to make money online but in the process, I learned how to spot scams.
In this post, I’ll show you absolutely everything you need to know about Cloutzap and after reading it you’ll know exactly if you should give it a chance.

Cloutzap is one of a ring of websites all created by the same people that claim to make it possible to earn money online simply by sharing a social media link or performing tasks on their offer wall.
According to the Cloutzap website, they’re the #1 influencer earning network but this couldn’t be further from the truth.
In reality, Cloutzap is a website that worries me. Read the review to find out why I think that is the case.

What is Cloutzap?
Cloutzap is a website that claims to be the #1 influencer earning network. According to Cloutzap, they make it possible for people to earn money by completing surveys, testing out apps, and referring people to Cloutzap.
Not much is known about the founders of this website. They have chosen to not make this publicly on their website or on social media.
Cloutzap positions itself as a huge community with millions of members that love to share their opinion about everything.
Here are some of the claims Cloutzap makes:
- Active in 190 countries
- 560,574+ registered users
- paid out more than $22 Million to Cloutzap members.
- Most members earn $10K per month.
- Sign-up and get a $35 bonus
- 4+ years of experience
- Mentioned in Forbes
This all sounds good but the problem with this is that the more I research, the more I’m starting to think something sketchy might be going on.
How does Cloutzap work?
You can supposedly win money with Cloutzap by following these 3 steps:
1. Join
Go to the website and create an account.
2. Share or complete tasks & Earn
After creating an account you’ll be directed to their dashboard where you can find your referral link. You can start inviting people to join Cloutzap (similar to affiliate marketing) and you’ll earn $2 for every click on your link and $20 for everyone who signs up.
You can also go to their task walls and complete tasks to earn money.
3. Get paid
Get paid out with PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, or Bitcoin.
The problem with these 3-steps is that while going through Cloutzap I found out that none of this is actually true.
I think this website is part of a ring of scam websites that are being used to steal people their information. Read below to see what I mean.
Things you have to take into account when trying to cash out:
Not only do you have to earn at least $220 but you also have to invite 5 people, get 15 clicks, and perform 5 tasks from the offer wall which all ask you for your information before you can complete the task.
Cloutzap Tasks
Cloutzap says it provides its members with multiple methods to earn money. Here’s a list of all the tasks that are available on the website once you sign-up.
Survey Tasks
After qualifying for the surveys, you’ll have the opportunity to complete surveys. All surveys are about different subjects.
App Tasks
Cloutzap will instruct you to install apps and you’ll have to do tasks on the app. The majority of the tasks are simple and can be done in 30 seconds.
Daily Quests
Cloutzap claims to have daily tasks on offer walls that you’ll be instructed to perform in exchange for payment.
Giveaways
An hourly giveaway that every member can join in exchange for a price.
The Cloutzap Referral Program
The main method that Cloutzap claims people are making money with is the referral program.
The moment you sign-up you’ll get a unique referral link that you can use to refer people to Cloutzap in exchange for $2 per click and $15 for every sign-up.
Who could benefit from Cloutzap?
The only group that benefits from Cloutzap are the people that created this website. It’s almost impossible to meet the requirements to earn enough money to cash out.
Red Flags of Cloutzap
Red Flag #1: Fake Payment proof
One of the best methods to gain trust as a platform is showing proof of success. Cloutzap does this by showing screenshots with payment proof.
The problem with this is when you look at the date of some of these receipts some of them have dates on them from before the Cloutzap website was created.
A simple WHOIS search is all that’s needed to look at how old this website is and to conclude that some of these screenshots are fake. I consider this to be a huge red flag.
Red Flag #2: Unrealistic income claims
The income claims made for doing small tasks and surveys online are very exaggerated. The headline on the main page claims it is possible to make $500 every day and in some of the testimonials they talk about earning $10.000 in 1 month.
With these numbers, you would be in the top 1% of the United States. It’s highly unlikely that you could make this much money with the tasks available on this website.
If that were true this website would’ve gone viral a long time ago but I never heard of them up until a few months ago.
Red Flag #3: Unsustainable business model
No company that knows what they’re doing would pay you $50 for basically doing nothing. Social Rebel claims they’ve more than half a million members. That’s a lot of money you’re losing. There’s no way you can sustain such a model long term.
You’d probably go bankrupt in less than a month.
Red Flag #4: No Social Media Presence
You’d think if you have 500.000 active members and millions of registered members all trying to use links on social media to refer people to Cloutzap that you’d notice it on social media.
This doesn’t seem to be the case which I find very suspicious. Clotuzap does have a few social accounts but most of them have a max of 50 members/ followers. That doesn’t add up to the claims they make about having so many members on their platform.
This doesn’t necessarily have to be a red flag but it does give cause to pause.
Red Flag #5: Fake Forbes mention
According to the FAQ page, Cloutzap was mentioned in Forbes. Forbes is an online publication that publishes articles and news about business, entrepreneurship, and subjects related to these 2 themes,
It only takes a 2 minute Google search to find out that this isn’t true. using a few simple Google operators you’ll get these search results.
I consider lying about mentions a red flag.
Red Flag #6: Unknown Founders
The track record of the founders of a business can say a lot about the business itself. In this case, Cloutzap hasn’t given us the chance to look into the founders of the website. There are no mentions anywhere online about the founders and what they’ve done in the past.
This doesn’t have to be a red flag because there are a lot of companies that mention their founders on their websites but they at least can be found on Linkedin.
This doesn’t seem to be the case with Cloutzap.
Red Flag #7: Copywriting similar to other scam websites
For those that don’t know, there’s a chain with websites that scam people. They’re basically clone websites that all make the same promises and don’t deliver. Cloutzap seems to be similar to this website.
It’s not as obvious as the other websites but you notice when you reed the copywriting on the website that it’s very similar to websites such as paid2tap, use2earn, Social Bounty, Next cash, and more.
They all say:
- they’re the #1 influencer earning network
- they got mentioned by Forbes
- That their website caused an uproar on social media
- and a lot more.
How does Cloutzap Scam you?
That’s the most important question.
At first sight, it seems a bit weird to call it a scam website because you can join for free but it definitely is a scam.
There are a lot more ways to scam people than take their money. I’m not 100% sure but I suspect Cloutzap is selling the information of their members. It’d explain why they encourage people to refer more people with ridiculous bonuses they’ll never get.
Companies will pay a lot for information about their potential customers because it makes selling their products easier. Cloutzap “pressures” people to give their information by making it impossible to earn money without giving your information.
My Personal Take
In my opinion, there are too many red flags. Most of the claims and statements they made on their website are all lies. The website also looks exactly like at least a dozen other scam websites I have reviewed over the year.
The website all have the same origin story, claim to be the #1 influencer network, and are full of untrue statements. The cashout threshold is also ridiculous. I’d be surprised if anyone reached it.
I do like the design of the website but other than that I wouldn’t invest a second of time on this website with the goal to make money on it.
Verdict
Is Cloutzap legit or a scam? Cloutzap is definitely a scam. It’s 1 of multiple scam websites floating around the web with identical copywriting.
They make false claims, present false payment proof, link out to sketchy websites to perform tasks, and it’s almost certain they steal information from their users to sell to companies.
