What is Use2Earn?
Use2Earn claims to be the #1 influencer earning network. According to their website, use2earn has been around since 2015 and started as a network that functioned as a middle man between influencers and top corporations.
According to their website, they have worked with some of the biggest names in social media and have even been mentioned in Forbes. Use2Earn also claimes to have more than 730.000 members and has paid out over $158,670,000 to its members.
This all sounds good but the moment I started doing some research I noticed that some things didn’t add which makes me worry about the legitimacy of this network.
Below you can read about what I found out and what caused me to think this way about Use 2 Earn.
How does Use2Earn work?
There’s a three-step process you have to go through as an influencer to earn money according to Use 2 Earn.
1. Sign-up on the Use2Earn website
On the website, you can fill in the opt-in form and become a member.
2. Invite people to Use2Earn
After you have become a member, you’ll receive a referral link that you can place on your social media channels to direct people to the Use2Earn website.
3. Get paid
After getting the referrals you can supposedly withdraw the money you earned.
Where does the money come from to pay you?
According to the Use2Earn website, the majority of their income comes from Ad revenue so they need as much traffic as possible. Use2Earn uses that money its members that joined the referral program.
Aside from normal ad revenue, they direct people to the sponsors of the website and their products to make money. There’s a huge problem with how they claim to make money but I’ll talk about that in the “red flags” area further in my review.
Who can benefit from Use2Earn?
The only people that benefit from Use2Earn are the founders of Use2Earn. It doesn’t matter if you’re an influencer with a huge following on social media or someone that can direct a small but decent amount of traffic to Use2Earn you won’t make any money.
Red Flags of Use2Earn
Red Flag #1: Copy of other scam websites
As someone that spends a lot of their time reviewing “make money online” opportunities I come across a lot of websites like these. In this case, I have come across other websites that use the exact same copy and layout on their website.
They all claim to be the #1 influencer earning network, founded in Amsterdam, and use the same earnings calculator on the front page.
Do you know what they all have in common?
A huge amount of red flags that lead me to believe that they’re all scams.
Red Flag #2: No trace of Forbes mentions
On the Use 2 Earn website, they have a section that gives some information about the history of Use2earn and how it was founded. In the middle of the story, they talk about being mentioned by Forbes.
For those that don’t know what Forbes is, it’s an online magazine that talks about business-related things like marketing, entrepreneurship, investing, and many other items. It is a very popular publication know globally so if your business makes an appearance on Forbes it is a big deal.
The Forbes website has a very high domain authority which means that more than often they appear at the top of search engine results pages from Google.
When I Googled using the operator Forbes + “Use2earn” I found no results linking to the Forbes website. I did find a lot of reviews that all said Use 2 Earn is lying about appearing on Forbes.
I consider this a huge red flag.
Red Flag #3: Unknown Founder
There’s no mention of the founder of Use 2 Earn anywhere on the internet. Not showing your face as a business owner doesn’t immediately mean that your business is a scam.
As an introvert, I can relate to not wanting to be in the spotlight but when this is combined with all the red flags I mentioned in this review I do worry about.
Scam websites tend to not mention who the founder of the website is.
Red Flag #4: The weird video testimonial process
The moment you enter you have an area called YouTube submission. Here you can earn money by posting reviews about Use2earn. According to the website, you can even earn hundreds of dollars just by submitting a video.
The problem with this is you only get paid after submitting the video and having it approved. This stimulates people to make fake reviews about Use 2 Earn just to get money.
Red Flag #5: How Use2Earn makes money doesn’t make sense
Earlier in this review, I talked about where the money comes from that Use2Earn uses to pay its members. They say it comes from ad revenue. This doesn’t add up because there isn’t a single ad on the entire website.
Unless there’s a new way in which readers can be transported to websites without clicking or even seeing ads I have to say that their earning method is one big lie.
How exactly does Use2Earn Scam You?
You aren’t investing money as a member of Use2Earn so how can they scam you?
Well… You can make a lot of money just by having someone’s information.
There are a lot of businesses that would spend a lot of money on lists with potential leads. This is what a lot of these websites do. They sell the lists to the highest bidder and all of a sudden you start receiving a lot of spam in your email inbox.
It might not be as bad as actually losing money but they do take advantage of your time and give false promises.
My Personal Take
In all honesty, I haven’t tried out Use2Earn myself but in this case, I don’t need to. It’s obvious that this comes from the founders of scam websites such as Kashtree and a lot of other websites I have reviewed.
They use the exact same, method, copy, and even origins story on all their scam websites. I wouldn’t recommend Use2earn to anybody.
Verdict
Is Use 2 Earn A Scam? After doing research and seeing all these red flags, I believe that Use2Earn is a scam.
Recommendation
Use2earn might not be what it presented itself to be but there are other products out there that are legit.
