According to the Reward Dollars website, they’re the #1 social earning network but this couldn’t be further from the truth.
In reality, Reward Dollars is a website that worries me. Read the review to find out why I think that is the case.

What is Reward Dollars?
According to the Reward Dollars website, they call themselves a social earning network that makes it possible to earn money by completing surveys, testing out apps, and referring people to Reward Dollars.
An anonymous group supposedly founded Reward Dollars in 2000 and is based in the United States. and according to its website have more than 300.000 members spread out over 140 countries.
Sounds good right?
After doing some research I found some things that worried me especially when you compare it to the claims made on the Reward Dollars website.
Reward Dollars claims:
- Reward Dollars has +321K users over 4 continents
- Reward Dollars has paid out $59 million since the year 2000
- You’ll get a $25 sign-up bonus
- Affiliates receive $2 when referrals click their link and $20 for every sign-up.
- You can earn $500 daily
How does Reward Dollars work?
You can supposedly win money with Reward Dollars by following these 3 steps:
1. Quick Sign-up
Go to the website and create an account and get the $25 sign-up bonus.
2. Share or complete tasks & Earn
After creating an account you’ll be directed to their dashboard where you can find your referral link. You can start inviting people to join Reward Dollars (similar to affiliate marketing) and you’ll earn $2 for every click on your link and $20 for everyone who signs up.
You can also go to their task walls and complete tasks to earn money.
3. Get paid
Get paid out with PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, or Bitcoin.
The problem with these 3-steps is that while going through Reward Dollars I found out that none of this is actually true. I think this website is part of a ring of scam websites that are being used to steal people their information. Read below to see what I mean.
Who benefits from Reward Dollars?
After seeing what Reward Dollars is all about and the red flags it has I have no hard time saying the only people that’ll benefit from this website are the founders themselves. Everyone else faces the risk to be taken advantage of by this website.
Reward Dollars Red Flags
Red Flags #1: The timeline doesn’t add up
On the about page, they have some information about how Reward Dollars started. The problem with this timeline is that it says that Reward Dollars was created in the year 2000. You can easily find information about most websites on WHOIS websites and here’s what I found.
The Reward Dollars website was created 2020-03-30 which means they’re lying about their history as a business which is a huge red flag in my opinion.
Red Flags #2: No Social Media Presence
Reward Dollars claims to have millions of members you’d think it’d have a social media presence. I have been reviewing “make money online” opportunities for the last 3 years and I literally found this existed a week ago.
They say Reward Dollars has more than 1M shares but I don’t know on what. It definitely isn’t on Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedin. I have seen some Reward Dollars groups but that’s it.
Red Flags #3: Forbes, Inc 5000, and other fake Mentions
On the”about us” page is mentioned that Reward Dollars is an award company that is recognized by Inc. 5000 for its growth. It is also mentioned by the online business publications Forbes, and other noteworthy websites that are considered to be authorities in the online entrepreneur and business world.
A simple Google search using the right search engine operators can confirm if the term “Reward Dollars” is mentioned anywhere on the websites that are listed.
This doesn’t seem to be the case which means they aren’t entirely truthful with what this website is about. I consider this a big red flag.
Red Flags #4: Unknown founder
The track record of the founders of a business can say a lot about the business itself. In this case, Reward Dollars hasn’t given us the chance to look into the founders of the website. There are no mentions anywhere online about the founders and what they’ve done in the past.
This doesn’t have to be a red flag because there are a lot of companies that mention their founders on their websites but they at least can be found on Linkedin.
This doesn’t seem to be the case with Reward Dollars. On its own, this doesn’t necessarily have to be a red flag but combined with the other red flags it does make me worry.
Red Flags #5: Fake Payment Proof
One of the best methods to gain trust as a platform is showing proof of success. Reward Dollars does this by showing screenshots with payment proof.
The problem with this is when you look at the date of some of these receipts some of them have dates on them from before the Reward Dollars website was created.
This proves that these payment proof screenshots are from something else.
Red Flag #6: It’s a clone website
All around the internet, there are dozens of websites that look exactly the same as this one. They’re all making the same unrealistic claims such as earning $500 daily with their influencer earning network.
The websites are also styled the exact same way, use the same copywriting, and all are supposedly award-winning companies that have been mentioned by Forbes, and use fake payment proof screenshots.
Examples of websites like this are Social Rebel, Use2Earn, Earncashto, Bonusjunkies, Nextcash and there are many others.
They all seem to be clone websites that don’t have the capability to back up their claims.
How exactly does Reward Dollars Scam you?
That’s the most important question.
At first sight, it seems a bit weird to call it a scam website because you can join for free but it definitely is a scam.
There are a lot more ways to scam people than take their money. I’m not 100% sure but I suspect Reward Dollars is selling the information of their members and getting affiliate earnings from the time you invest in the tasks you perform on external websites.
It’d explain why they encourage people to refer more people with ridiculous bonuses they’ll never get.
Companies will pay a lot for information about their potential customers because it makes selling their products easier.
Reward Dollars “pressures” people to give their information by making it impossible to do tasks and earn money without giving your information.
My Personal Take
I base my take on the claims that Reward Dollars makes on their website. So let’s take a look at them again.
Reward Dollars claims:

While we can’t confirm the number of users they have the lack of any social presence says a lot. Especially when you encourage members to share their links in order to earn money.
Reward Dollars has paid out $59 million since the year 2000
It has been proven with the help of the WHOIS information that this website has barely been around for 2 years which means this claim is false.
You’ll get a $25 sign-up bonus
As soon as you sign-up, the dashboard will indeed say that you’ve earned $25 but to this day I have never met someone that was able to cash out from Reward Dollars.
Affiliates receive $2 when referrals click their link and $20 for every sign-up.
Just like with the bonus I have never encountered someone that was able to cash out their earnings.
You can earn $500 daily
Surveys, tasks, and watching videos aren’t going to earn you $500 daily on any website. Even the biggest get-paid-to websites such as Swagbucks and inbox Dollars only amount to a max of $40 every month.
If you could earn $500 daily with Reward Dollars it would’ve gone viral a long time ago.
All their claims seem to be false and combining that with all the red flags I’ve uncovered it lead me to believe that this is nothing more than a scam website.
Verdict
Is Reward Dollars legit or a scam? Reward Dollars is definitely a scam. It’s 1 of multiple scam websites floating around the web with identical copywriting.
They make false claims, present false payment proof, link out to sketchy websites to perform tasks, and it’s almost certain they steal information from their users to sell to companies.
Alternative
It’s a shame that Reward Dollars isn’t the real deal but it is possible to earn money by referring people to websites in exchange for a commission. It’s a method called affiliate marketing but to be successful with it, it has to be done properly.
